About Simple Site RV
Simple Site RV: A Cozy Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains Nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Simple Site RV offers a peaceful and convenient camping experience. This small campground boasts large, full-hookup RV sites, catering to visitors exploring the nearby races, local concerts, or seeking a longer-term stay. The campground is praised for its polite and helpful staff, who ensure a smooth reservation process and attentive service. The sites are all pull-through, with ample space for any size rig, and feature double septic and in-ground water hookups, allowing for comfortable winter camping. Amenities include picnic tables, a laundromat, and a clean bathhouse with showers. Guests appreciate the well-maintained and level sites, as well as the quiet, peaceful atmosphere, with only occasional noise from the nearby road. The campground's cash-based system and lack of credit card acceptance require visitors to be prepared, but the reasonable rates, starting at $112.30 for a two-night stay, make it an affordable option. While the bathhouse facilities are a bit dated, the owners have plans for upgrades in the near future. The absence of Wi-Fi is offset by good cellular coverage, allowing guests to stream content and stay connected during their stay. Overall, Simple Site RV offers a simple, yet well-appointed camping experience, perfect for those seeking a tranquil retreat in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
