Unfortunately there's an update that is not good for this company, in regards to Wi-Fi internet hotspot.
That's very pleased with the outdoor receiver / indoor modem. With just the standard indoor modem being in a log home with 10 in thick wood walls I would only get about 10 to 15 megabits per second. Was having an external antenna receiver outside that is attached to a wire that goes inside to the modem I was receiving 40 to 50 megabits per second. There is a problem though a very big problem. That causes me to see the modem/outdoor receiver useless! It is the plan that you provide US Cellular shame on you. You give me an indoor modem with the plan of 600 GB high speed usage per month but then changing to the outdoor receiver / indoor modem you tell me after you change my plan it's only available for 300 GB per month and you never told me you changed my plan until I find out myself that have reached my limit I don't appreciate you not telling me I do not appreciate you lying. And I do not appreciate being throttled. I would expect way more from a company in the United States to provide adequate internet than to be given one thing I told another I would not recommend this for anyone unless you barely use the internet at home or in a business. I do hope someone sees this and realizes they're making the customer look elsewhere for something better I had to pay for something that I cannot use with activation fees I did not get refunded to me.
Khalil please let your management know they lost the customer because of false sales information.
The first Wi-Fi hotspot would barely work at all, after testing for 15 days I asked if they had anything else to try, And I found a life saver! See photos ;) unable to access all modem router controls. The only good thing was the signal strength capable of receiving 40 to 50 megabits per second download unfortunately throttled if you use your limit of 300gb per month limit.

I wish I could put 0 stars. On Jan 22nd my boyfriend's phone would not turn on at all. He tried what Google advised on how to do a hard restart. It did not work. He came into this store roughly 30 minutes before they closed and they refused to help him! The rep kept trying to do what my boyfriend had already done even though he repeatedly told the rep that he had been doing that for quite some time with no luck. They said their system would not allow them to do the sale! REALLY!?!?! He needed a new phone ASAP and they did not care to help! It was 2 young men. I am sure if this company wanted to look into who they were (I did not get their names), then they can see who was scheduled on January 22, 2025 at 6:30 PM! I am not even sure why they work there if they don't want to do their job! He has been a customer of US Cellular since he was in high school and he's 41 if that tells you anything! He was rightfully upset at the lack of service and said he would go to a new carrier that night. They did not care. They had no problem doing their job at this point and giving him the pin and transfer info for him to stop his service with them! He switched to a new carrier that night and I just got done leaving a 5 star review for the assistance he received there. That carrier went above and beyond that night and had us in and out in no time! Do better US Cellular with the workers you choose to hire.

I did not have to wait to be assisted and I had other things to do while in town and when I returned my phone was fixed. Young man was so helpful.

The US Cellular in Rocky Mount VA is the best. I have been a customer for 20+ years. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond their normal duties to assist customers that need that extra help with technology. No other carrier in town can beat their excellent customer service

Brought in my tablet that keeps turning off randomly. The guy with brown hair, blue eyes (Didn't catch his name unfortunately) couldn't get it to work but took the time get together and write down all the information I needed to get it fixed and more. Great customer service ?
