I saw alot of complaints for this branch, but my experience has always been positive. The employees behind the counter have been super nice. My biggest gripe is over the hour they shut down for lunch. I have forgotten about it several times and showed up only to have to wait for them to open back up.

2 days in a row the mail has not been delivered. The post office manager promised it would be delivered (Saturday, Monday and now on Tuesday and still no mail) and refused to hand over my mail on Monday. Frankly at this stage some or most should be replaced immediately. I personally have never seen this. Ever. Not over a catastrophe but over everyday mishaps that most people go thru and then still do their job. Complete incompetence.

Went to mail a package and the employee gave me a hard time because the prepaid label wasn't already taped to the box. Ended up leaving without mailing my package. Won't be back again. Would not recommend.

Didn’t get mail one day last week. Went to the post office to ask why, and the post master said they made the decision not to deliver mail only in our area because they had too many Amazon packages to process and didn’t want carriers to be running past dark.This isn't the first issue with them, and surely won't be the last. They have 3 carriers, one for packages, one for junk mail, and one for regular mail. This is taxpayer dollars hard at work.EDIT 1: Supposed to get several packages today, USPS office purposely didn't scan the packages, so they wouldn't have to deliver them today. If you live in the Grassy Hill area, don't expect good service, we hardly get service at all.

Still haven't got my mail today and it's already almost 3pm. Got it yesterday at 11am. I am reporting this whole post office and management of it not only to state but federal level too. They need to open an investigation on these people and find out the problem.

Twice now the person that delivers my mail won’t deliver packages that are to big to put in the box when it is bad weather. Its like they are afraid of rain and snow. One time I had them deliver my medical device to a different post office and I had to go get it.

If you want to reserve a p.o box you MUST print a paper to fill out. Apparently thinking they would have copies to give us to fill out is just to much for federal employees to handle. I don't own a printer because I never need one. The entity has ALWAYS provided whatever document needed to fill out.

This place is pretty ridiculous with having to completely shut down for lunch cause of course they all have to leave together instead sending out half at a time so people came still mail their things when they take off from work to come there on our lunch for your services your suppose to provide but can't cause you all have to go to lunch as a group and waist people's time thing to get things done!!

One star is too many for this place!This is the most backward delivery place I know. I shudder when i discover my Amazon order is coming through the postal service. I wait at home all day for them to deliver my medium size box, only to discover they just dropped a missed delivery(no secure location available) in the mailbox and left. Then you fill it out-then the next day they leave another (no number on house). My house and my driveway are clearly marked. They don’t bother to go any further than the mailbox. There must be some kind of financial incentive for them to ride around and keep peoples undelivered packages in their vehicle. Deliver the packages to the address!!

Awful service. Never answers the phone. Post person keeps putting other people's mail in my box. If I say return to sender they just put it back in my box. I've received other people's mail and packages. So I wonder if someone else is getting my mail.. Attempted contacting the office and no one answers. Will be making a complaint.

I won’t receive mail for two to three day but my friend across the road from me get his everyday and they put held at post office when I never put in to hold it there worst part about rocky mount is the mail delivery can someone please do there job right:/
