It’s a really great experience! I wish that their hours were open a little bit longer, but definitely recommend camping here!

Conveniently located to the brewery and other local interests. The hook up utilities in the full hookup sites are terrible. No camping thought went into that process. Bring extra hose. The pricing is ridiculous. This campground used to be $75/night but was increased to double the amount. At this rate, the campground stay isn’t worth it. There are no amenities but a bathhouse. We will not be returning until pricing is reasonable. From what I have read across many camping platforms, filling all the spots at $75/night seemed to be a better financial decision than only having 1 or 2 campers at 150/night. Hopefully someone in upper management is reading the reviews.

Nice basic campground. Charging $150 a night is ridiculous. We've been coming here for years and now we can't afford it. Very sad.

We have camped at the full hook up sites numerous times. When I went to book for this year's trip, I found that the prices had taken quite a jump. We ended up getting a site in the section with electric only. That section was nice, but for the price we paid for that site it would have been nice to have water, too. We really enjoy the convenience of being able to walk to the brewery! The Basecamp offers easy accessibility to many other activities in the area. Overall, we love this place. We were just really surprised at the jump in rates.

A fantastic campground with easy access to the rest of the devil's backbone brewery amenities. Easy access to nearby hikes.

Overall our stay at one of the RV Full Hook-up spots was great. The views the atmosphere all A+. Only reason four stars instead of 5 is that if you have an odd numbered spot your water & electric connections are on the front side of your camper, and there are only 2 stalls in the men's room. My husband and brother kept having to wait in line to use the bathroom.

Would give 4.5 if possible.
My wife and I have a lot of camping experience.
The base camp experience was 5+.
Really enjoyed drinking 1841 Steinlifter!
Regarding camping:
1. The water supply is extremely sulferous. Dog would not drink. Had to buy bottled water. Off-putting when brushing teeth. Showering questionable. Water pressure is too low.
2. Not enough trash receptacles. Recommend add several trash cans, some with doggy bags. There are a LOT of dogs. Which is fine with us.
3. No propane refill capabilities.
4. Hiking trails are not well marked and too wet to complete the hike. Maintenance attention needed.
Overall, my wife and I had a great time, arriving on a Thursday and leaving on a Monday.
Toilets: In the campground only one bathhouse which was nice and well maintained. Facilities at the base camp were sufficient.
Dog-friendliness: Top notch.

It used to be great, camped there several times, but they've increased their rates so much it's not worth it anymore, will be going elsewhere.

Campsite is awesome. Food, beer, and staff are all great. Cigar lounge was the perfect atmosphere with a great bartender! 5 stars

Awesome place to relax. Walkable camping nearby and great beer. Gift shop could use some additional merch but everything else is great.

Great campground. Easy to find and a lot of activities around. Loved being able to walk from our site to the brew pub. I wish their camp store sold more miscellaneous items besides ice and fire wood like batteries, flash lights or even stuff to make s’mores. Besides that most of the sites are very spacious, there are a few smaller ones but all have great tree coverage from the sun. The walk to the bathroom is close no matter what premium tent site you’re at. Highly recommended!
Toilets: Super clean, spacious shower

We really enjoyed this campground in the past. However, they have raised camping rates to $150 a night with zero amenities. Straight up greed. Restaurant is expensive with poor service. Time to check out the competition.

$150 per night is crazy. Nothing special about the campground except proximity to devils backbone. This is a parking spot in a field with no trees and the sewer likely on the wrong side. There are no amenities. We’ve stayed many times but plan to go elsewhere going forward.
