“I went to this church to pick up food for a friend of mine who doesn't drive. Members of this church are so loving and serve our community and give of themselves week after week. You are the light unto a sometimes dark world! ❣ Thank you so much!”

“We recently attended an event there (June 26-28, 2025). We enjoyed the facility. We attended Wednesday night service. It was a powerful time. So glad we went. The bathrooms were wheelchair accessible.”

“Me and my husband TJ were in a Facebook marketplace rental scam from this lady Miste Droog. We lost 4000 dollars in this place, she lied about her sister being homeless and needing our spot and was trying to repost the ad and put more people in the basement apt and even tried to scam my mom in law. We went to court bc she tried to just give us 2 weeks to leave, and she owes us money just wanted her property back. Anywho, we called the salvation army and Pam put us on the waiting list. Lisa Anderson was extremely helpful and friendly and immediately got us on the referral list for housing and got us working with Miriam's House. They helped us with our application fees, first month and security deposit and a percentage of our rent until we are stable. They offer breakfast and dinner, sometimes goodie bags. The family unit room was clean and furnished and comfy, we even had a bath tub. You leave at 8, and come back at 4:30 in the afternoon, except weekends it's early and come back at 12. Curfew of 8:30 at night. The security guards are understanding and welcoming. Extremely friendly staff that want nothing but to see you succeed and prosper and they give you the toolset to do so. We are very thankful for the salvation armys help.”
