We needed a tire plugged and they took care of it really quickly and we were on our way! Appreciate it!

This morning, 12/27 I went to rustburg auto for an oil change. I’ve been here many times before for
Most of my services including regular oil changes and state inspections and have never encountered a problem until today. I pulled in just before 730 and noticed the hours on the door for service were 8am. I typically go in the evenings after work so I was not aware their service center opened at 8 but I was fine to wait. As I waited I filled up with gas and cleaned out my car. I had a grocery bag in my car that I put all my trash in and threw the trash away accordingly and pulled my car back around to wait for 8am service open. At 745 a line developed for service so I walked in, and was ignored as I stood at the counter. I passed it off as the owner being busy at the moment. No problem. Without looking at me and in a disgruntled tone the gentleman (owner of the shop I presume) says “yes”. I ask him for an oil change (it’s past 750 at this point) and he tells me, again in a disgruntled tone, that it’s going to be a while, his shop doesn’t open until 8am and he hasn’t heard from any of his guys so he can’t give me a time when I will get in for a service, then says could be 815, 83, 845 etc. I politely said “okay, that’s no problem” and before I could turn to go sit down he says “and by the way that trash you left, you need to remove. That don’t fly here”. I said “I’m sorry. Where would you like me to put it?” In the same tone he says “in the back of your trunk would be good” and proceeds to scold me like a child for several minutes with a line of people behind me, repeating himself over and over about how leaving trash in his trash cans “don’t fly here”. I told him to have a nice day and that I would take my business elsewhere”. I walk away and the next person in line comes to the counter and the man proceeds to speak poorly about me with the other customer. I have never dealt with this person, I typically deal with Barbara, who I believe is his wife. She is kind as can be, but this man must have had a really poor holiday because his attitude was unhinged. I followed his advice and took the trash from the one can. And moved it right to the next, and drove off. They lost a customer today.

Racially prejudiced and will provide services to Caucasian customers before African Americans. My husband arrived 10 minutes before opening and was told he would be serviced at 8 AM. Multiple customers not of colored arrived and were being serviced before my husband. My husband was told he would have to wait til 10 AM. I would not recommend.

Well, I wasn't very impressed with this business..I was three hours from my home in NC and had a blown fuse causing my dashboard to not work..no speedometer, turn signals, etc. I called at 11:45 a.m. and asked if she had fuses for my car and she did. I told her I was on my way. She failed to tell me they close for lunch from 12 to 1. And, what really irritated me was the fact I saw an employee working on a vehicle in a bay. She said he is on lunch break and is working on his brother's car. Seems to me like, I would have pulled the employee for a fifteen minutes to put in a fuse and add it to his lunch hour. I go to Rustburg often to visit my sister. However, if I need something basic..a battery, tires, gas or a fuse, I will not go to this station. I will drive to another town.
