This is the cutest shop with the nicest people. I drove 2+ hours for them to help me with my Baby Lock machine and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely give them online business and next time I’m in the area, I will definitely make a stop. So friendly!!!

Took my first quilt class in a long time with Sarah yesterday. It was AMAZING. I was super nervous because I hadn’t quilted in about 6 years or more but she was so patient with me. I learned so many tips and tricks and feel confident I can finish my quilt on my own after her assistance! Thank you Sarah! And thank you to the other shop ladies who are wealths of information. I’m from Roanoke and will make the drive to TRTI anytime for my quilting needs.

Super nice ladies. Very helpful. Huge selection of fabric and accessories. The colors and different patterns are huge. Will definitely be returning. It’s a slight drive for my wife and I, but well worth the trip.

Absolutely LOVE this quilt shop in Brookneal, VA. Emily has set up a beautiful store with lovely fabric, patterns, thread, machines... pretty much anything you might need for your quilting project. The staff are courteous and helpful. They have a small seating area available. Longarm quilting services are impeccable. Highly recommend.
There are several restaurants and shops w/in walking distance of TRTI if one wants to explore downtown Brookneal.

I went today to see what was wrong with my machine, it was a simple and easy fix! Just needed the right thread and a new bobbin case! Emily was the nice women who helped me today and she was absolutely amazing! Gave me awesome tips and advice and I wouldn’t have been able to finish my project without her! Thank you Emily!!!

I found out about Threads Run Thru It when we visited my husbands parents—the shop was near Brookneal. Va. I had a great time shopping there. I found out they moved to Lynchburg and I visited a 2nd time last month. I am a quilter and found many pieces I loved. I’m using many of those pieces in my granddaughters quilt. Nice helpful staff that day-but they didn’t interfere with my browsing! I’ll visit again when I’m in the area.

I am about 4 hours from this quilt store and have passed it on the way between MD and NC. I finally had the opportunity to stop and WOW. I loved it so much. I would happily drive 4 hours to come back here. The place is giant. Several rooms. Walls of Bernina and Juki machines for sale. Major purchase long arms there for sale and to tryout. Walls of threads and patterns and notions. There is an entire, very large room, with walls literally loaded with Batics! Tables and tables of sale fabrics. Wonderful staff. Several cutting areas and the place was loadedwith happy customers. Very happy to have made the time today. I will definitely be back!

Very helpful! Some of best quilting fabric prices around. My wife used to go to them when they were about an hour drive away. More recently they moved closer to town, now they are on Wards Road across from Hyland Heights Baptist.They carry several brands but noteworthy for us is that they have HandiQuilter longarms. We researched the brand, found them to be solid, and bought a good used machine.They have a qualified tech, Lance, who did a great job servicing our machine and giving good practical advice. Emily inside the shop is incredibly helpful as my wife transitioned to quilting her own quilts after years of piecing then sending the larger ones out to someone else to quilt. Emily for the win!We are looking forward to their HandiQuilter class when the bring HQ's Education staff from Utah to LYH for a 2 day training event.This is now our go to place for everything quilt related. Thank you TRTI!
