UPDATE for the Sheetz employee posting form letter replies to the negative reviews: I have ALREADY EMAILED YOU ABOUT THIS. I did so on the same day that I posted my review. Also, the Fredericksburg Health Department is now investigating this matter.--Absolutely horrid. Multiple fuel pumps inoperable, overflowing trash cans everywhere, and the cherry on top--FOOD POISONING because their crew doesn't cook chicken properly. I'm sure Sheetz Corporate and the local health authority will be very interested in this location when other reports from November 25 start coming in. Avoid this location at all costs.

I give it a three star because all the employees are friendly. On that note the reason I only give it a three is because of the manager shanty is very rude to her employers and customers. This Sheetz needs a new manger that knows how to treat people and do more than just sit in her office and only come out to yell at employees and being rude towards customers.

This was my first Sheetz stop in several years (I moved to an area without a Sheetz location over 5 years ago). I was pleased that my loyalty card still worked and that an email receipt arrived in my inbox within minutes. The restroom was clean and the gasoline proceeded reasonably - in the lower average range compared to my other purchases during the same weekend and 30 cents less than a station I passed an exit further south.

Don't get food here. It takes forever and the people cooking shouldn't be. Not only do they leave everything in the fryer until it's dry and overcooked I watched the girl take a chicken patty from the fryer and place it directly on the counter because the other person didnt have the bun ready yet. Food safety, they dont understand it. Timely service, not here. Edible food, not exactly. Probably better off at the Mcdonalds next door.

Traveling up from Richmond and stopped for a couple of hot dogs and a drink. The MTO machines were down so I ordered from the Sheetz app and waited an acceptable amount of time. The people making the food and shakes were very friendly and everything was made exactly as I requested.

This Sheetz is really dirty considering it’s only a couple months old at best. Some trash cans at the pumps were overflowing. They did not have a windshield scrubbing tool at my pump. I took one from another pump that had no washer fluid in it. I filled my tank and the pump had no receipt paper. Since, I had to go inside for a receipt, I decided to use the restroom. The entrance way had trash littered on the floors, more in the actual store, and the bathrooms were disgusting!I’m sure this location is very busy due to its location just off I-95. Unfortunately, it will be a very poor representation of the way Sheetz are run as a whole. Cleanliness and convenience is key to Sheetz success, this location is failing.

My experience reflects the other google reviews. I went in solely to get money out of the ATM. It was temporary out of service. Went into the restroom, and it was nasty! All the trashcans were full past the brim ,over spilling onto the floor . Bathroom doors were spray painted to hide whatever inappropriate message that was written. Nothing had been cleaned. since who knows when! ? . I didn't even look at the details of the store itself except how dirty the carpet is.The store is relatively new. The reviews are mostly negative. Why cant cleanliness be a priority for the functionality and success of this establishment?

Done a lot of traveling and always look for Sheetz station. By far one of the worst I have ever encountered. Bathroom was absolutely filthy. Main area was trashy. Drink coolers were only half stocked. Poor experience.

Stopped at this location on our 12 hour road trip. Ordered two milkshakes, waited 20 minutes only for them to try to hand us nachos. Woman couldn’t tell us where the milkshakes were or how long it could take because the board was “full” with 7 drinks. Try a different sheetz or a different place altogether. Couldn’t even process our refund…

Placed order and paid at 318 pm by 328 still no food keep in mind it was a turkey sandwich... This the 3rd time I've waited more than 10minutes... I had to leave to go pick up niece and nephew from school told them I'd come back... The lady on the phone sounded depressed like she was over being at work... Training in drive through time is much needed

I enjoyed the clean bathroom but the rest wasn’t anything to Bragg about for a first time visit. I’ll will continue to Goto wawas nothing was filled by the coffee station at 6 in the am. The staff don’t know enough about the lottery to answer questions it was a waste of a pit stop.

Glad we finally have a sheets and another close fast food option but there’s truly nothing fast about it. Even if you’re the only person in the drive through (or if you go inside) expect to wait at least 20+ minutes for any ordered food/drink. The food isn’t bad and I like the milkshakes but again every single time I know I’ll be waiting for about half an hour or more. Tired of it, probably won’t go back till it’s fixed

Just got back from driving from Connecticut to Florida. I’ve been doing this drive for about 22 years and one of the hardest stretch was going through VA on I95. There was never any real easy on, easy off stops that were clean and safe looking where I could stop especially with the kids. This place isn’t big but will now be one of our added stops for gas and food and bathrooms. It was super clean and the employees were super nice and helpful. We sat and ate outside at the tables. I got a coffee and a turkey sub with lettuce and tomato on a toasted white roll and it tasted great. Also got a big pretzel and a burger and some chicken nuggets, jalapeno poppers, and mozzarella sticks. If you’re traveling through VA I would definitely recommend stopping here. It’s not huge but definitely a great place to stop. They also have what looks to be a new McDonalds as soon as you get off the highway. Variety is the spice of life (especially when you’re driving one thousand miles with a car packed full of adults and children).
