I have been buying 4 cartons of cigarettes every month from the Gomart in Salem VA for the past 17 years. Two weeks ago (04/12/25), when I went to make my purchase, I was told the new manager will only allow 2 cartons at a time with no reasonable explanation. I guess Gomart no longer wants my money and can afford to lose a very longtime customer. I'll go somewhere else where the manager doesn't have an inflated ego making ridiculous new rules.
If someone can explain why this needs to be a rule, I'll gladly listen. Maybe I don't have all the facts, however, purchasing 4 cartons once a month worked for over 17 years!

No soap on either women's or men's bathrooms. Notified attendant and they couldn't produce any for me. I was going to buy something but lack of hygiene products available grossed me out.

Me and my husband always go to this gomart. Today I went to fill up with gas and the cashier today was very rude. I always pay for gas on the inside after I had filled up. Today she stated that she couldn't set the pump and I had to move to another pump in order to set it. I have never had this said to me at anytime when I parked at any of the pumps. Her attitude was rude and not very pleasant with me or other customers in the store. I left my name and number for the manager to call me. I will think hard about going back to this store. If she is still there. She is not good with customer service.

This place is AWFUL! It's dirty. The employees are rude and could care less about the customers. Went in 4/13 @ 8:30am to get coffee and a snack. When I walked in said, "good morning" to the woman behind the counter, she ignored me. She was too busy counting inventory to even look up. So, went over to the coffee. The coffee was empty. When I asked the "counting woman" about making more coffee again I was ignored. I took the hint and left. While leaving I saw the other employee smoking a cigarette and talking on her cellphone. Yeah, don't waste your time. DON'T GO HERE.

Today at Wednesday at 11: 45am . Cashier white women with long dark brown. hair. My sister and i went play lottery. She was disrespectful with my sister. Because my sister wanted to use a ticket. She won $ 8.00 to pay a lottery ticket. My sister explain to her. She said " You're not getting what I'm saying. " she was very disrespectful.

I usually come in three times a week to buy lottery today I come in to buy my lottery and I was told lottery could not be sold to me from the other side of the counter. If I wanted lottery, I could only buy the scratch off on the side that was open, which does not contain new lottery tickets. The cashier told me the managers rules not to sell lottery tickets only on her side that’s open so I will no longer be buying lottery tickets at this convenience store. It’s a shame because I usually buy a couple of hundred dollars each time looking for a new spot.
