The worst ever! They let frauds steal your money from them and then they refuse to give it back or hold it for ransom. I will never do business with them again.

I'd give negative stars if possible. I've always paid my bills on time. I check my credit today and notice it's got a negative mark now because of this credit union. I'd been paying my loan for over a year and then all of the sudden they say they aren't receiving my payments even though they are auto pay. Then wanted to charge me late fees. I usually always give positive reviews or no review at , but I thought I should let others know about the shenanigans going on here.

I'd rate zero stars if I could. Terrible customer service. All they do is transfer you to different people who can't help. They offer no sympathy and are not empathetic at all with their clients. I've had them since 2013 and just recently I've had terrible luck. Broken down car, fired from my job and pregnant on top of that. I hit rock bottom financially. No body wants to hire someone who's 7 months pregnant. I kept getting hit with overdraft after overdraft after overdraft. Then , they'd call me wanting to know when I was gonna make a payment. I had told them my situation several times on the phone and inperson, but no one ever documented anything. So, I was constantly back at square one. ,said how can I when yall took what little money I had and overdrafted it? I was told I needed to keep a better eye on my accounts... my car is broken down, i can't work and I was pregnant at the time. Fast forward to now, they wanted my car to have insurance on it. It will not run. It's been parked in my driveway for months. I turned my tags in, thinking that would take care of the issue. No, they added insurance to my car , made my monthly payment go up to $400+ , I only owned them $624. Left out of 18,000. So, instead of paying off the 624 and being done they were wanting over 1000.

I have a new vehicle loan with Member One FCU for a car we purchased in July 2022 at Shelor MM Christiansburg. Out of the blue, I received a phone call at the end of January from a Member One FCU customer service rep saying that the account was overdue, that it had been assessed $22 in late fees, and that it was in jeopardy of going to collections. A surprise!, in that I'd been paying the scheduled amount like clockwork and as specified in the loan paperwork. I opened my bank records and confirmed as much--that the automatic payment had been disbursed on time each and every month since we bought the vehicle. The customer service rep said was skeptical, suggesting that we'd done something wrong. It took 30 minutes on the phone to get it cleared up that by some manual process of moving funds around from a savings account to the loan account (I do no other banking with MOFCU), an incorrect amount had been moved and the rep was going to "do some research into it." I can't think of a poorer customer service experience in the past ten years. By the end of the call, they said I should be appreciative that they would waive the late fee. I said we could do a three-way call with my own financial institution to sort out why the payments were not reaching MOFCU and posting correctly, and Member One's rep said, "we don't do three-way calls." I *think* it's resolved for now, but dang, I am relieved that I am not doing any other regular banking with Member One FCU.

I was so, confused about the difference in banking terms coming from a different state. The Manager and the Teller took the time to help me understand what it all meant. Awesome service ?

Have banked here since I was a teenager working my first job. Have never had a single issue. Staff is always friendly and very quick. Whether opening an account, seeking a loan, or even if it's related to an account problem, they are always quick to help. I don't plan on ever leaving Memberone!
