Been going to this store since it opened. Great selection and prices. During COVID, when everyone was out of Fancy Feast, I tried their Mittens brand. Not only less expensive than Fancy Feast, but the cats love it! Plus, they offer a $10 off $60 purchase coupon on the back of the receipt from the Kroger next door. Great company. The loyalty program can be a pain to deal with, though. I do love their mobile vet who visits monthly from Blacksburg. Always the same vet and very good with our animals.

I'm one of those "dog bond is sacred, a dog will choose me when it's time" kind of people, who spent 11 years dog-less before an angel literally fell into our lap last night.
Kris and Damian were so genuine, knowledgeable, and caring, that we find ourselves recommending the experience to everyone, including you, as one would recommend the best... dish, show, masseuse, therapist, really, anything... they've ever known. Kris and Damian each added something memorably kind to a shopping moment often dismissed as a mere errand, and from a customer service perspective, they won. They've won our trust, our business, and our highest praise. And yet, it was a simple moment, certainly not pushy or overbearing. There was no dramatic musical score to embellish our memories. Still, I am compelled for only the second time in my digitally deficient life to actually bother to write a review. Go there, thank them, not me.

I just want to say that the manager Kris has a huge heart. I’ve encountered a hardship and didn’t have the money to feed my cat and I had called local food pantry’s and the animal shelters to see if they could kindly donate a small bag of cat food to me and they wouldn’t but I reached out to Kris and she had the heart to donate a bag so that my cat wouldn’t go hungry. Thank you so much Kris. I will never forget the kind gesture you did for me in such a hardship I was having ❤️

Corey D is the absolute best at Pet Supplies Plus Salem. I first met him with my brand new chocolate lab puppy Sadie. He spent a lot of time with me explaining so many things about puppy care and dog training. He eventually trained Sadie and she is such a joy and very well behaved. Folks ask me all the time about her training. Corey also grooms her. She loves going and he does an incredible job. He goes above and beyond what is expected and is always so helpful with questions and concerns. If you would like your dog to have an excellent grooming experience, book an appointment with Corey at Per Supplies Salem. You will not regret it!!!!!

Corey groomed our big baby, Mando in Jan 2024. We were so impressed he has been going every few weeks. Corey is always so helpful and very knowledgeable. He assisted us getting a food that was better suited for a Great Dane and I am certain he loves our boy as much as we do. Thanks Corey!

This review is for our FAVORITE pet supplies plus groomer, Corey. I have a big, super-hairy Bernese Mountain Dog who requires a lot of grooming. Corey goes above and beyond to make sure that my beloved berner is throughly cleaned, rinsed and dried..this is no easy task if you know the breed. Our fur baby is also prone to hotspots in the summer months and since Corey has been taking care of him, his hotspots have disappeared.

Friendly staff! Oh and Dale our 6 month old Leopard Gecko highly recommends the Dubia Roaches with a side of crickets and a mealworm dessert! ??

I'll never go back here. They are completely rude. Ruined my daughter birthday by lying and rubbing something in her face she couldn't have. Going to lie to us about the pet and everything. It's so disgusting how someone could treat a child the way they did for literally no reason! Purely disgusting

They never have the dubia roaches in stock. When asked they seemed unbothered, saying sometimes we just don't get them in. Sounds like something that should be looked into instead of brushed off.

Greeted as I came in the door like I was a good friend not just another person. Excellent assistant with getting a name tag printed. And the lady manager is absolutely wonderful. I'm not good with names, sorry. the inventory gets better everytime a go there.

We had used groomers here in the past and had good experiences until one time in 2022 which left us not wanting to go there anymore. I was hesitant to book again but the location is convenient so I called. I spoke with Luca and explained why we were hesitant. She booked our girl Stella with her and she did a phenomenal job on a golden retriever who was way overdue for a spa day. We ended up booking our boy Reggie with her the next day. Thank you Luca for being so professional and understanding and doing a fabulous job on these two. We’ve already scheduled their next appointments too. The goldens said thank you for being PAWSOME
