Spur of the moment. Very clean and bathrooms were updated and really nice. Night staff were great but daytime was a little less friendly. Free breakfast was very limited and only protein offered was eggs and small yogurts.

We reserved a room here due to the great reviews that we found and the place didn't disappoint. The room looked like it may have been updated recently. Nice paint color, beautifully tiled bathroom, very comfortable bed and sheets that were so soft I wanted to purchase them for my home. The hot/cold breakfast options were many and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

great place for a stop over right off 81. close to shopping and restaurants.clean with exceptional front desk service. great security.breakfast is ok...in my opinion, eggs were powdered...stay away!

Extremely clean and comfortable. I was impressed. My husband and I stopped overnight during a long road trip. We had 2 full-size beds. They were the most comfortable beds we'd slept in while traveling. Very convenient to 81, restaurants, and stores.

Great hotel with a good restaurant next door. Room was clean. Bed was excellent. Fridge with a freezer. Loved that. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and certainly intend to stay here again. Loved our stay!

Stopped with my senior parents since they like motel layout. SeemedOld but thot I'd try. I walked in, guy sitting behind desk was in sweatshirt, acting way too chill, not friendly. I asked to see room and he was so unaccommodating . He said he couldn't, he 'didn't know what to say' he wasn't allowed to do that. It was more the way he spoke to me than anything, not mean just super poor customer service. I pulled up pix online- super old and dated- went so went around corner to Hampton and had a 360 degree better experience with staff and Hampton showed me room first!

From the moment I checked it, I highly recommend the Quality Inn Salem. The person at check in was amazing. She accommodated an excellent place for parking our motorcycles, was friendly, knowledgeable, found us a place to eat, and gave us a room where we could easily see our bikes. The room was clean. The double beds were comfortable. The room had a small fridge with separate freezer. Excellent experience. Only one minor complaint. Room has a 32 inch TV. If I ever come back this way, I will stay here again.

I don't usually choose to stay at Quality Inns because they generally are not as nice as Comfort Inns or Sleep Inns.My husband and I were traveling through on our way to South Carolina and it was late. We literally just needed a bed and a clean room. This hotel did meet those expectations because the room was clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but it was only for us to sleep.The front desk lady was less than hospitable. Customer service is about meeting the customers' needs and our needs were not fully met. I requested extra pillows on our bed because my husband has some physical needs that require extra support from pillows. The lady told us we didn't need extra pillows because there were 4 pillows on the bed. I told her I had requested it and she insisted that there were 4 pillows on the bed. (My husband alone requires 4 pillows). She was kind of snippy about it as well. She never smiled and looked like she would rather be anywhere else than helping customers. We just said whatever to her and my husband dealt with it.When a customer requests something, it is the business's responsibility to provide that request unless there are no extras available.We stayed at another choice hotel the next night and the front desk lady was so helpful. She only had one extra pillow at that time and she gave it to us and apologized for the inconvenience. Perhaps that front desk clerk at the quality inn could take some lessons. I was very displeased.

Easy location off interstate. Staff very friendly (AM and PM).The room had comfortable and soft sheets but smelled a little musty when I first entered. It was better after AC turned on and it worked well.

Comfortable bed and a hot shower. Room was clean and the staff were attentive. Great room rate as well.

Old and janky. Looks like a meth motel. Paint peeling off the walls and they still want a $100 incidental deposit. Lol

Convenient location, as most hotels are. The rooms are clean and are great value.The first check-in wasn't great. The girl seemed annoyed from the start and ended things with "here's your key card, thanks" and turned away without running through the things they're supposed to say. I asked "is that it? Anything else I need to know?" like how to walk to my room, when breakfast is, etc. The standard stuff.Her response, a slight pause and "Nope."However, everyone else was good so I'm still giving it 5 stars. Besides, I don't remember her name or even took notice. I tend not to call out bad actors at a business. I figure they'll weed themselves out soon enough anyway.

The receptionists, Kemal & Adora who have helped me, we’re so very kind, patient, efficient, joyful and such a pleasure to work with. I highly…very highly recommend staying here. It was such a pleasure working with them both after a disaster at another mess of a place and they made a horrid situation into a peaceful and relaxed experience.Thank you Kemar & Adora!Clean room , very comfortable beds, a spotless bathroom!Over all an amazing Hotel!I recommend to Quality Inn that you please given them both raises as they deserve the recognition for they were/are such amazing representatives of your company.I will be sharing this story with everyone I know and on my social media. It’s been such an amazing result as they saved our trip from being a disaster and turned it into a joyful experience & meeting two wonderfully amazing people topped it off perfectly.Noteworthy details: Newly remodeled rooms and pet friendly.
