Good car wash if the vacuum cleaners would quit getting the hoses ripped off of them, whoever is doing that, please stop.... Some of us like clean vehicles, and it's gotten to be a little repetitive, don't you think. It's ridiculous, grow up.

Equpment in bad shape, extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Bought a new car few months ago and brought it there for its first wash. The foam brushes left swirls and scratches all over the clear coat and had to spend over $1000 for paint repair. As this is pretty much the only DIY car wash in the area today went to wash my car there again but used a fiber cloth instead of their brushes (did not want them damaging the paint again). One of their staff memebers rudely shouted "no hand wash". When I explained why I am doing it his response was: "So don't come back then".

Had my bumper replaced and was told not to go to car washes with moving brushes for 60 days! Well Spring came and so did all this pollen on my car. My dark blue car was covered. I asked around and found this was the old school car wash where you can do it yourself. Funny I didn't realize how many people still go to self serve car washes because it was packed! There was about 4-5 lanes and you have to get tokens to operate the wands. The machine takes cash and credit card. The tokens are $1 each and gives you a certain amount of time. So the more time you need, the more tokens you should purchase. I say, come with patience because as I said this place was crowded and depending on who's in front of you, your wait time will vary. I got out the car while I was waiting to get my tokens before it was my turn but I did see a guy pull in to the bay and then go get his tokens. The guy I was behind started busting out his buffering tools and wax so I waited quite a bit for him to finish! But he did add a couple tokens when he left and told me to pull in! I will come back like on a Tuesday morning.

Great for its location. Just wish there were more options for interior cleaning

Only place within the area that I have found where you can manually self service wash your car.

Horrible experience at the Sweetwater Sunoco today. After using the car wash I filled up my 2010 Toyota 4Runner with the usual 87 unleaded gas. After filling up I noticed I was charged for 94 premium and overpaid ~$20! I brought this up to the attendant (Randy) and his only response was that I only work here and couldn't help. He told me I must have pressed the wrong button or the hose must have hit the button. I've been pumping my own gas since I was 16 years old and have never made this mistake. I also check that the blue light is lit to indicate which type of gas I have selected. Anyway, I'm never coming back here. Be sure to check your receipts so you don't get scammed!!!

We drove out of our way to this car wash and they closed early with no explanation. The worker and management were rude and didn't care about our inconvenience and directed us to another car wash that was also closed. If you're trying to find a self service car wash go somewhere else!

As far as self-serve car washes go, this place works just fine. There are quirks, but every place has their quirks! Their vacuum machine works like it should, put some coins in, you get to vacuum your car. Their self-serve car wash is a different story. You have to put in at least 4 tokens to get the car wash going, so you automatically have to buy $5 worth of tokens. This place doesn't offer any benefits for getting bulk coins (some places give you 6 tokens for $5 worth of tokens, etc.). Two stars off for the way the self-serve machine is set up. Once you get the self-serve machine going, if it stops, you'll have to put in $4 to get it going again, so it's best to just keep adding money to the machine before the time lapses. I learned this the hard way. Maybe there's a trick, but I didn't figure it out in the 5 minutes I had to wash my car. This place gets one star back, because you're able to change your selection (you can change from pre-soak to rinse to foam brush back to rinse), that's really nice and if you work fast, you can get a good wash in. As far as car washes go, I worked FAAAAAAST, and was able to get my car washed with a pre-soak, rinse, foam brush, rinse, wax, and rinse. Would go back.

This is for the self serve car wash and the employees. While cleaning my pick up truck, the bar that the hose connects to on the ceiling shifted down and put a dent into my passenger side rear door trim. This was on a Sunday, so the gas station clerk told me that I wouldnt be able to contact the store manager till the next day, understandable. I tried to reach the store manager around 8:30am (the time i was told she would be be available) the next day only to be told she was walking around the premises and not available. I called back a couple hours later. Once again i was told the store manager was unavailable. I insisted to the store clerk that this matter was important, then i was hung up on the the store clerk. The store manager did not call me back until about 1:00-1:30. When talking to her, I informed her that i called the Sunoco corporate, filed a claim, and received a claim number because of the lack of assistance from this specific location. The store manager (name is supposedly Angie Colbie) became defensive, cursed at me, and stated that i was lying about what had happened with my vehicle. She insisted that i couldnt have called corporate because SHE is corporate. She is NOT corporate, ONLY a store manager. Obviously not familiar with her business or position. She also blatantly said that they would not assist with the maintenance of my vehicle and then hung up on me. I called the Sunoco corporate back to let them know and update my claim. The incident happened on March 29, 2020. I am writing this now because nothing has been done. I have been contacted once from the Sunoco insurance claim department in early April with no further assistance. *EDIT* The last name of the store manager may be spelled incorrectly. Her first name may be different as well. She did not sound too trustworthy over the phone.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is wildly overpriced & the employees are trash I do don't recommend.

Decent wash facility but honestly isn't worth it I feel like I would've gotten the same results from the hose at home.

$3 = 3 minutes, insane price for a DIY, carwash, no competitors so they make the rules, without me thank you, first and last time i tryed it.

Way too expensive for DIY and using such dated equipment. The hoses and brushes were all badly worn and need replacing. The vending machines and control panels are old too. The whole place should be spruced up, this is northern Virginia, not some backwater. I do a diy wash because I know that I'll never get the level of clean I expect by paying someone, people have no work ethic these days and want everything (health insurance)for free, so I might as well save the money and do the job myself. I don't feel like I saved any money here though, I spent 30 bucks. Oh and it's in the barrio.
