Purchased a large expensive battery from them in the afternoon for my sailboat. Went to install it but realized it was the incorrect size. I put a battery charger on it while I was taking the old battery out. They were closed so I decided to return it the next time I was down which will be a week later. I went into the store to return the battery that I had put a battery charger on it. They accuse me of using the battery and would not let me return it. The first gentleman was quite hostile to me. Then the owner came out looked at it and said they were scratches on the post so they would not take the battery back. It was a brand new battery not ever discharged. Would not take the battery back, definitely was not concerned with taking care of his customers. Informed him I would not do business with him again. He told me he'll be okay he's been in business for a long time. If you want customer service and you want a dependable Auto parts store. This is not the place. I lost a big chunk of change because they were not willing to take this brand new battery that they sold me back. I would have been better off just ordering off of amazon. I'm sure this company has survived here because they're the only option in Saluda. Every time I go in the store the employees have a very poor demeanor. Last time one of the workers in the shop was talking about how he wanted to look up a customer's information who slept with his wife, cursing and making a scene. I would highly suggest people not get taken advantage of by this poorly run auto parts store. There's a Napa in deltaville that I will use.
