No visit to Waltons Mountain (Schuyler, VA) is complete without a visit to Ike’s store. This combination fuel station, convenience store, deli is really friendly. The hot meals they serve are great, true home style cooking. The store is also well stocked with most items you may need.

Delicious food! We had burgers and fries, sandwiches, corn dogs and nuggets, carrot cake and cheese cake. All soo good. Highly recommend their special sauce. It's yummier than Chick-fil-A sauce. At the time it was run by some very responsible and helpful youths as well as a very kind granny. As it's pretty close to the 29 we'll definitely stop by again next time we're heading south. It's worth the short detour!

We enjoyed a wonderfully catered lunch at John & Olivia’s B&B yesterday on our Walton’s Mountain Wine Trail Tour! Impeccable customer service and delicious food from the “Living Waltons” at Ike Godsey’s’ Store on the mountain!

This little store is located about a block or so give or take from "Olivia's Bed and Breakfast", The "Hamner/Walton House" and the "Walton's Mountain Museum". So I wanted to review because people need to know where it is, and that it used to be the original site of Ike Godsey's general store from the show/Hamner memories growing up there. This is the "site" only. There is a sawblade sign to take a photo of but nothing more. Anyway, although doesn't look like it was at all, this is a family run shop and the boy there was super helpful showing me where the orange juice was. I got some delicious juice (trying what appeared to be a local brand perhaps instead of a mass produced one in any 7-11 store) and found it better than other juices. They had some different snacks, a couple more unique ones and they were very nice. So if you're going to tour "Olivia's B&B", "The Walton Mountain Museum" and the "Hamner house" (can just snap a photo but don't go on private property please go take photo from the store at the corner only as to not bother owners. Go stock up on snacks and drinks before you move to your next location (Also visit the outside of the church and the little antique store at the corner). Get the Juice it was cold and delicious. Only four stars because it was quite small and not original; but that's not their fault.

Stopped in during the morning hours for a cold drink. The food they were cooking up for lunch hours was smelling great. Nice owners, very friendly.

Awesome store and good food, but the greatest part of our stopping in is the family! So friendly and great hospitality. They even offered to cook us up a ribeye steak and to let us join their softball game.

Super friendly and helpful staff! My wife and I each got a slice of pepperoni pizza. It is much better than you would expect from a country store. The pizza was as good as you would expect from a restaurant that has been in business for decades.
