Dollar General Scottsville offers everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. The store provides everyday low prices on frequently-needed items including food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, basic apparel, housewares, seasonal items, paper products and more from America's most-trusted brands and products, along with Dollar General's high-quality private brands. This location also sells Alcohol and Tobacco. Customers can save even more with the myDG program. The reviews mention a great experience with a friendly and helpful cashier, as well as an overall improvement in customer service and employee friendliness. However, there is a common complaint about the store's cleanliness and organization, with stock carts and other items obstructing the aisles.

I know they have had customer service / employee disappointments in the recent past. Tonight I went in and was greeted as I walked inThree employees were there and all seemed friendly.Hopefully they will continue to improve.

Friendly staff. Good choices, but why do all dollar generals, regardless of age or size, have such a difficult job keeping store clean and easy to maneuver without stock carts and other items all over? This is an overall complaint- not just THIS one, but all in my area (4)
