Cypress Creek Golfers’ Club is a beautiful, well-maintained golf course located in a peaceful setting carved from mature hardwood forests and old peanut fields in Smithfield. The course features a challenging design that rewards creative shot-making and thoughtful strategy, with plenty of ups and downs on rolling terrain and many water holes, including the memorable ninth with its island green. Its layout is fun and scenic, especially around holes 15 and 16 that play along the river and reeds. The course offers nice, flat, and well-groomed tee boxes, plush greens, nice bunker sand, and a good driving range with real turf. The staff in the pro shop and restaurant are friendly, helpful, and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere for players. The course management is actively improving the facility, and recent updates have made the experience even better, with plans to enhance the greens and overall conditions. Visitors appreciate the friendly service, good food at the bar, and the overall effort to keep the course in great shape. Though some greens are healing and geese sometimes peck at them, these minor issues do not detract from the overall enjoyable experience. Cypress Creek Golfers’ Club is highly recommended for players of all skill levels seeking a scenic, challenging, and friendly golf environment.
Really nice golf course for the area. Only reason not 5 stars is the price. But its not just this course, all courses are getting sky high with their prices.
