Vet tech, Naomi & Dr Boe were very thorough in their examination of my sick pup. They were great- explained everything very thorough and provided all information for the treatment received and set up the future appts before we left! This was our 1st time here and was very pleased with start to finish process compared to the prior vet I used.

Smithfield Animal Hospital has done a great job with the care of our 2 dogs. The veterinarians are great, and the vet assistants and front desk admin staff are very courteous and professional as well. Highly recommend!

You can tell that Dr. Boe truly, truly loves animals from the way he interacts with them. More importantly, he is incredibly knowledgeable, which majorly put me at ease when my dog had to have emergency surgery. I believe Dr. Boe saved my dog's life, and I could never thank Smithfield Animal Hospital enough.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. I brought in a family member's 14 year old cat who had been neglected, and they were absolutely amazing with him. The doctor sat with me for a very long appointment to thoroughly check him over, and even ran quotes for how much the different options would cost so I could make the best decision for both myself and my cat. I am very thankful for all the were able to do for us, and plan to come back for all of my kitties needs.

Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend to anyone in the area that is looking for a replacement or new vet. They were able to fit my puppy Ellie in same day and fixed her right up. They were very detailed with instructions. I can't speak highly enough about the entire staff.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Forgeng and the staff at this practice. My dog was hit by a car and had to have surgery on his dislocated hip. Everyone was kind, caring and helpful. 5 star all the way!!
