Working with Connie and Naomi was such a fun experience. Connie was very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease through the whole shopping experience. Naomi made sure that my order could be delivered on time and was such a pleasure to talk to. I will be going back to shop for more items at the South Boston location!

DO NOT BUY FROM SCHEWELS!
Sold me furniture that broke within two weeks! Was lied to about the insurance for it, and now, 6 broken pieces in...the insurance company they work with; have the part on order...in 8 months!!!

Schewels sold me a defective powered sofa set and an insurance policy that was supposed to take effect after the 1-year manufacturer's warranty expired. First, Schewels didn't call to schedule furniture delivery so my living room was still full when they came to deliver the new furniture. Then, within the span of 7 months there were 3 separate issues where the sofas didn't work. Before the 2nd issue was resolved the store stopped responding to me. I actually had to travel 30 miles to the store to speak with an associate about the 3rd issue. When I explained that I didn't want to pick new furniture as the manager suggested, Schewels refused to give me a full refund that included the cost of the insurance policy even though the policy wasn't in effect yet. They gave me a store credit for the insurance policy only after a lot of frustration, calls, emails and back and forth. To add insult to injury, corporate didn't inform the store that I was coming to use the credit, so I had to wait until they could contact corporate for verification. Which meant I had to make a second trip to use the store credit. I ordered a dinette set with the credit in Feb that was supposed to arrive in May. In May I was told it would be here in June. In July, I called because the store had dropped contact with me and I was told the dinette set would be delivered August 19th. On August 19th, I didn't receive any furniture or a update call, so a few days later I got another table and cancelled the order. Schewels is still taking the position that I am not entitled to a full refund. They are holding my money for the insurance policy I never used hostage and trying to force me to shop with them under the guise of a store credit. I paid them cash and that is what I want back. I was told by the sales associate that the powered sofa set that I had so much problem with was one of the best items in the store when I purchased it. Why would I want anything else out of Schewels if that's the case? After everything I've been through with the things I've tried to purchase, a store who valued their customers would do the right thing but not Schewels. I am angry and frustrated and I don't want a store credit...I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! If I could, I would give Schewels negative stars on this review. My advice to anyone who needs furniture...Don't go to Schewels, spend your money with a company who values you as a customer.

We weren't impressed with the living room furniture at all. So easy to pick out all the flaws on all that stuff.. my wife is glad I talked her into going to Green front what a difference in the quality of the furniture they had.. We paid $1000 more but 100% higher quality
