My wife and I ordered a Samsung washer and dryer set and a dishwasher. The delivery team was completely incompetent. We paid for brand new hoses, and they didn’t install them or leave them. They installed the old hoses that were at the property. Then before we could correct them, they had left in a flash. Must have hired crackheads. On to the dishwasher. My wife, her dad, and I all were at the store when we picked the model we wanted. Saw the associate scan that code. We discovered that they had delivered the wrong model. There was no confirmation given by the delivery drivers on what was delivered. They did not open the box or anything. Then Home Depot won’t exchange the dishwasher because it’s been longer than 48 hours. We had been out of the state at the time of delivery. My father in law was there to receive. They left before any checks could be done. We’re getting a full refund. But honestly all the management needs to be let go because of their incompetence. They are ultimately responsible. And all they did was hide behind their red tape. We have a refund but now we have to again go somewhere else to find a dishwasher. They should have made an exception for being wrong in the first place. But no. Don’t shop here. I was just on the phone with a manager and he wouldn’t let me talk to the store and district manager. Complete nonsense. I’ve never in my life seen such a blatant display of unprofessionalism.

NEVER use them for floor installation. After a month of waiting on floors that were supposedly in stock, we had to cancel. The original floors we had picked out they did not install due to a small bump in the floor that they did not notice when they came out to measure. All the managers we have dealt with are brand new and have no handle on the situation. Moving on to another company.

when your EMPLOYEES suggest that WALMART has their microwaves on display (i was looking for a countertop one and all I saw out on display was over the stove models) and NEITHER of the young ladies moved from there spots in the kitchen section to help me, you have SERIOUS customer service ISSUES!

Have tried to get manager to contact me for my continued delivery of 3 kitchen appliances which weren’t cheap. Next week will be delivery attempt #3 after all kinds of excuses from their Final Mile delivery contractor. No hand trucks on truck and “we can’t drive down your concrete driveway!” Twice we’ve taken off work and lots more to be there, unloaded the old fridge to be ready and still hadn’t happened.

THIS STORE CAME THROUGH. I TAKE BACK I WOULD RECOMMEND USING THEM. Frustrated because we purchased a brand new $800 generator and it will not start. Followed directions called manufacture who said take it back but Home Depot doesn’t take it back all sales are final. Was told we would have to take it to Colonial Heights HD for the service technician to look at it. What? We are supposed to not be out on the roads. 7 days without power.

Love this store, love the staff, lighting and cleanliness. We did an online order for one item for a DIY project. As I headed into store, notices the email spoke of car side pickup. Well we just went to the front counter where Brittany and Stephanie promptly said we can help you. Brittany seamlessly located the order and we were on our way out in 5 minutes. All this said, these ladies were professional, efficient and took the time to be polite and exchange niceties with us. We enjoy chatting with people and we shared smiles and were wished a good day. In these days of staying home and feeling isolated, this gave us a FEEL GOOD DAY. Thank you Stephanie and Brittany for being sensitive to the customer experience.

Corporate needs to remember what made them great to begin with and stock the stores with complete projects. Stop pretending they are Walmart or Target and keep shelves stocked with wire and materials for contractors to be able to use them.

Working with an employee, lady comes up behind me he immediately acknowledged her, asked what she wanted, said we don't carry but I'll call Lorain's for you, stepped back to pull out his phone, another crew member nudged him back to my order.

Bought a NexGrill six-burner grill from this Home Depot online, chose in-store assembly to try and save time given it was July 4th. Was notified it was ready for pick-up within a reasonable time, picked up the grill in-store, assembled, no issues. Took it home, discovered several parts essential for use were not installed at all nor were they given to me when I picked it up. Drove 30 minutes back to this Home Depot where they were unable to find the parts that came with my grill, or locate another grill I could use to salvage the parts from for mine (despite their system saying there were 3 others in stock, and the representative confirming via phone before I made the trip that they had plenty of spare parts.) Their assumption was that the assembler, whoever this mystery person was, just threw away the parts that weren't used. Because that makes sense. Long story short, I was given parts from another brand of grill that they said would still work, and after I drove all the way back home, they didn't fit. The only reason I am giving this Home Depot 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were nice and professional and at least TRIED to fix my problem. I even apologized myself despite THEIR mess-up because I knew they had to be busy granted the holiday, but it seemed every single person I dealt with had no idea what to do. It's a great grill, and I'm thankful I was at least able to use it for July 4th, but do yourself a favor and don't choose in-store assembly because whoever their assembler is evidently can't follow elementary school-simple instructions. Just take the time to assemble it yourself - at least you'll know it's done right.

Went in to the store with my husband to purchase a washing machine for my mother. Sales associate was helpful and informative right up until he asked us if I was having a boy or girl. For reference I am not pregnant and had made no suggestion that we were expecting. It made the interaction afterwards very uncomfortable. The sales transaction was fine but for future reference maybe the associates shouldn't make small talk.

Good reliable service
