Morning stop for coffee and this Love's was in good shape. A little bit of mess at the coffee station but it was busy and perhaps they just hadn't gotten there yet. Cups, creamers, sweeteners and all sorts of high carb treats nearby if you want something filled with preservatives and whatnot.
The rest of the store was clean and the restrooms were in good condition. An easy stop.

Clean & everyone is nice . Just weird that they do not have washing machines or dryers . Not good for truck drivers or anyone on the road . Surpriseing for a loves’s not to have them . Hope they change it .

I've been here since 8:21am for 1 trailer tire. 2 bays and 1 of those has been empty the entire time , 3 workers and Im still here.

Nice place for trucks and local cars to take a break and the gas prices are good as well, stopped by this store for gas and was glad to see LOVES onboard with their fuel discount, will use more LOVE stores for their customer appreciation of fuel discounts., Stopped by this LOVES on 09/24/2005 to get gas a couple of hot dogs, everything went great except for the chili machine for the hot dogs, but a caring worker there named Sharin came to the rescue, opened up the dispenser and identified the problem and fixed it, she even told me to wait because she wanted me to have chilli for my hot dogs, now this is the service every LOVES TRAVEL stop should have, she is a valuable asset to this store to take the time to make a customer happy, Management should recongnise such dedication to customer satisfaction again Thanks to Sharin Job Well Done you made the stop meaningful.

I have always been a big fan of Loves here in southill..but NOT anymore!! I only get gas and coffee here as the coffee is great. The last couple of times that I came in for coffee there was no cold creamer and the coffee bar was dirty. Over by the sink was a molded empty container that appeared to be used to hold water for what ever reason. The coffee lid dispenser was really dirty. The floor looked horrible. Today I went in for coffee. The only size cuo available was large. Both cold creamer were out. There was only 1 flavor of creamer on the counter. The little small ones you shake and open. Omgosh!! The lid dispenser was just nasty, no other way to say it just nasty. The floor was nasty as well. The cashier was very pleasant and stated the only size of coffee cups available were the large and I would have to pay full price even though I only filled my large coffee cup half way. This Loves used to be the bomb for getting coffee and everything that goes with coffee. Not anymore. I will never come back for coffee Just so you know the fountain drink area wasn't much better..

Exceptionally Clean & Spacious Showers – A Great Stop!
Stopped at Love’s Travel Stop in South Hill, VA (Store #469) and was genuinely impressed by the shower facilities. Whether you're a traveler, RV camper, or just passing through and need a refresh, these showers are top-notch.
The space is very clean, modern, and surprisingly roomy—way more comfortable than I expected. You can tell they prioritize cleanliness and maintenance, which goes a long way when you're on the road. They have 5 showers. The layout is smart and even includes features like benches and accessibility support, making it feel more like a hotel shower than a truck stop one.
Highly recommend this location if you need a clean, private place to reset. Five stars for sure!

Great stop. Very clean and welcoming. Our mini schnauzers loved the dog park. They needed a place to get out and be safe. This place was awesome

Everything was fine until we prepared to leave. The sites are all pull through, but in order to get out of the RV spot you have to back up and go in reverse. That meant we had to disconnect our vehicle, move it out of the way, back up straighten up, econnect, and leave. It does not allow you to continually pull through to the exit. That probably ought to be changed.

beautiful truck stop beautiful showers!!! the only nuance is that the workers who clean they just brought in towels and didn't wash anything it's a pity that soon these beautiful showers will be dirty like many others

This business stole $30 from me on April 13, 2025. They were having system issues that day (other customers were complaining also) and in their failed attempt to resolve it they charged me twice. Didn’t realize it until I checked my credit card activity. Called the station and “Jeff” of course does nothing and tries blaming it on me. I’ve disputed the charge with my credit card company and will be issuing a complaint against Love’s with the Better Business Bureau and the Virginia Consumer Protection Agency if I’m not promptly refunded.

Clean places frieny faces hardly. The location off of 85 is convenient but, this place needs some work. The pros are convenient location, plenty of gas pumps, RV spaces, dog area. Cons the bathroom is pissy smelling and needs a good deep steam cleaning or power washed frequently. They could also add better choices besides subway and McDonald's. Gas pumps do not print receipts, we don't want to come in for a receipt. But I'm sure that's a marketing tactic to get people to buy something.
