The receptionist at the front was rude. She had me wait then told me they were booked when there were more nail techs than customers. Very unprofessional.

After being a polite and loyal customer for months, tipping generously every time, they did a terrible job on my nails, charged me a ton *and* gave me an incredibly rude and aggressive attitude. I came in with a picture of a very simple color design (no art, patterns or drawings, etc.) and they said they could do it. They then did an awful job that looked nothing like the picture. The colors were completely off and incredibly ugly. When I politely asked the nail tech if she could correct it, she became extremely hostile and angry, and told me it was my fault for not telling her the names and numbers of the colors that matched the picture-- how would I even know which brands they use before I got there to know which names and numbers I should look up for those brands? Not to mention that they know it's not the customer's job to do that; all salons match the colors based on the picture you show them, and if they think they can't, it's their responsibility to tell you beforehand, not after they do an awful job and then, with a super nasty attitude, *and* blaming the customer for their bad work. Worst of all, they charged me *extra* for asking them to fix it, which they did not do at all. Garbage service and garbage attitude. Save your money and go anywhere else.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE MY NAILS!
I have been struggling years to find someone who can do the correct nail shape and really just honor what I ask for, and Van is AMAZING I definitely will be coming back.

Tina is the most amazing nail technician ever!!! I travel all the way from DC to work with her. I love her and have been with her for 10 years. I follow her from her old place of business. Book an appointment with her and you won’t regret it. Please tip her in cash and tip her good because she deserves it.

UPDATE:
After posting my original review, Hollywood Nails promptly contacted me and invited me to come back to fix my manicure. They managed to fit me in the same day, and Kay was amazing. She addressed all of the issues with my nails, not just the smudged polish and I am much happier with the results. I can only give four stars instead of five because of the original issue, however if you have Kay, I'm sure your experience will be 5 stars from the start. I highly recommend seeing Kay at this salon, and I greatly appreciate the salon making it right.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2 Stars
Made an appointment for a full set because I am going to a wedding (I even mentioned that to my nail tech) and I left disappointed. At the end there were smudges in the polish and the tips looked like they were coming out if my fingers at odd angles (even taking into consideration the natural weird angle of my fingers)
Part of this bad experience is MY fault because I was too timid to speak up about the polish, but I was surprised when the nail tech didn't offer to fix it when she saw it upon final inspection (at least, I assumed she saw it, maybe I'm wrong about that). Also, I only get manicures for special occasions, so maybe I am unaware what what a full set with nail tips is supposed to look like nowadays.
I ended up being so bothered with the final result that I began to take them off later that same evening.
I'm not looking for anything from the salon, and maybe my nails look fine to others and I am too critical, but I just want others to be aware that if you don't upgrade to a gel polish, there is a chance your nail tech won't want to fix any smudges and you'll leave looking less than fresh.

Came in for a mani/pedi on New Year’s Eve (late starting). Noticed minute chopping the same evening. Progressively got worse and 2 days later the nail polish is significantly chipped on both hands.
Husband was there a few days before me and had to come home to file his nails later that evening as they were snagging.
We have never had issues at this location previously but I have not been in a while and there seems to have been turnover of the staff. We did not recognize most of the current techs. Not worth the money. Prices have increased but quality of services have decreased.
