The cashier Lana was so kind the system wasnt working properly and the coupon wasnt going through but Lana was determined to help and attempted to get some assistance from the manager with no solution and i ended up getting the items at regular price anyways because of Lanas excellent customer service

Francisco the manager is not customer service driven at all. The group of teens that work there were excellent, pleasant and helpful.

We went to the American Eagle Outfiters and ONCE AGAIN, I clearly selected the hanging pants (buy 1:get 1 50% off). And once again, they tried to gaslight me and say those aren’t for sale. When I walked the manager over the the identical section, where the pants were hanging. I said clearly “these clearly say 50% off). He said (I can’t make this up) well, these folder ones aren’t. Mine weren’t folded, they were still on the loop hanger like the 10 other pairs amongst them. I asked the manager how in the world would the folded pair he picked up (not on sale) are Actually the ones on sale, despite what he and I were both looking at. His answer? “Well, maybe someone hung these wrong” me” Your employee erroneously hung these pants with those rack of clearly marked discounts? I never felt so insulted in my life. Directly lied to my face, then because very unfriendly when I caught him in a lie. Now only will I never return, i will make Facebook posts and TikToks to let shoppers know. Disgusted.American Outfitters in Springfield Mall. Do NOT let them overcharge you!!

I visit often but prefer other the store in pentagon city. This store is okay but the selection is limited. I went searching through clearance items, only to find something, then was told oh well it was misplaced, you have to pay the regular price. I understand but it's not my fault. You guys should do better at putting clothes where they belong... super annoying.

Poor customer service and the manager didn't comply with his own stores return policy. They made up if you wash it you can't return it and even after explaining his own policy he didn't take process the return. Mind you I bought it two days ago and it had a stain on it already.Luckily customer service took care of it.

I want to shout out to Kim at the store who went through a lot of trouble to find an order that had been canceled and put back despite the fact that I had called and asked for a little more time to pick it up. Even though she could not find them up first she just never gave up and found my order. Absolutely excellent customer service! I will be shopping at that store more!

It's no wonder this store has the reviews it does.??? Go to whole other one if you can. Avoid this one. They wont let you return ANYTHING dont even try. Manager is rude too, no surprise there.

Unpardonable behavior on the part of manager Francesco. All lines were 20-25 minutes long, meanwhile he was inattentive and thoughtless allowing my daughter to wait in line only to announce it was closed. When I respectfully voiced my disappointment he publicly embarrass me by ignoring me altogether. Furthermore when I asked why he treated me this way, he personalized the matter by acting unprofessional and rude. He was common and show any emotional intelligence.

Had a ship to store/pickup order, and asked an employee to help me but instead he directed me to the line, first mistake. I waited in line for 15 minutes. They only had one register open, the rest of the employees were roaming around the store folding jeans that were already folded or were too busy talking and chitchatting while there's people waiting in line. The point of a pickup order is to make it quick, get in and out of the store asap. Anyway, turns out they did not have my pickup order because "I didn't pick it up within 7 days, so it was cancelled". I'd like to add, 1. I showed up on what would've been the 6th day from the "estimated arrival date", and 2. I NEVER got an email confirmation saying it was ready for pickup, checked my spam too and nothing. The employee told me I had one option really, and was to re-purchase an item... that is no longer available on the website lol. She also said I wasn't going to be charged, since I never picked it up. That's not my concern, I wanted the item because I knew it was the last few ones available. Never did they apologize for the issue or the wait, and made me feel like it was my fault that they forgot to scan it in when they received it and send me the email. Overall pretty upset and disappointed.

Today I went to get jeans at American Eagle, I’ve been to a few locations but this was by far my best experience, I was asked if I needed help immediately upon arriving and while I was trying on clothes the girl who was helping us were so sweet! Even though we stayed a few minutes after closing they kindly let us know and informed us about a sale. Definitely will be coming back!

First time coming to this mall and my experience at the AE and Aerie was short and not so sweet. I walked in and instantly saw a pair of shorts I wanted to try on, I didn't know which size would fit me best so I grabbed 2 different sizes and headed to the fitting room. Immediately I was told by a long-haired blonde sales associate who was working at fitting rooms that it was closed. Was not told why, just that it was closed. I found it odd since I saw her doing nothing and just standing at the end of the fitting room but I said alright and headed to the Aerie section.You would think since it's under the same company they would let me try on 2 items in the rooms there. Nope! I was told by who I now know named Sharon (short white/blonde hair) that she would NOT be letting me change in there. I explained to her that the AE one was closed for some reason, but was CUT OFF by her and told that she will not let me try on anything AE in the fitting room. It's the fact that she spoke to me in such a demeaning and rude way that I am writing this review, and upon reading others her name and/or description pops up the most in these reviews as well. Surprised Aerie nor the AEO company have done anything about this, it looks to me like they don't care about customer experience!
