I saw the bad reviews on Google and went anyway. That's my fault.
1. They will NOT finish your repairs by whatever day or time they give you. Expect to go back.
2. Payment is required upfront, in case you are unsatisfied with their work
My issue: I paid for them to repair the entire stem of my pumps and they only replaced the heel tips and charged $15. Then the guy told me that he couldn't replace the rest of the heels torn material because the shoe and it's material were so cheap. He then suggested that I shouldn't have gotten them repaired at all and should have just bought new shoes in the first place. He wasn't upfront about what he could or couldn't do. Then was rude and unremorseful.
A waste of money. Go elsewhere if you can.

I was going to the Springfield location this week to repair/stretch 3 pair of my heels. BUT, after reading these reviews...I will look for another cobbler. Santiago needs to be retrained or replaced!

Where do I start?? They’re never open during the “hours of operation.” I was told my boots would be done over two weeks ago and it still is not done. Santiago said that my boots would be done two Fridays ago. I came to pick them up then he said next Friday. I came the next Friday and then he said come Monday. I came today, which is Monday and they’re not even there! I came 3 times today so that I can get my boots and no one is there. Horrible service, horrible communication. They lie to their customers about when the repairs will be done. They close all day on days they’re supposed to be open. Sadly even the owner knows, yet nothing gets done about it. I need my money back. Don’t bother calling, they don’t answer.Update, they said they have to keep my boots another 2 weeks so it’ll be over a month total time. Do yourself a favor and go to a competent cobbler with proper timelines. They keep changing the due date

I have used this repair shop in the pass with great workmanship and timely return of product. The most recent repair was total disaster. I was given the wrong sole replacement on one of two pairs of shoes. I was lied to as when the repair would be ready several times. No one answer the telephone. I am done once I get my shoes.

Came to pick up my shoes and the store is closed with no notice of explanation, and no voice mail setup to let customers know information about store hours/closing etc. while writing this 2 people came to pick up/drop off shoes and were upset as well.poor customer service

I don’t want to give this a bad review, because the gentleman repairing the shoes was very nice. That being said, my two boots were a week behind schedule. Which was fine. What wasn’t fine, was I got heel taps, and after walking in the shoes for 20min, the tap came off. What made matters so much worse is I tried calling the store during business hours with no answer. I called every hour for six hours during open hours with no answer. I am so upset - these were new boots I was really looking forward to wearing. Now I’m stuck until I can get ahold of someone at the store.EDIT - I physically brought the boots in after 8 attempts at calling with no answer. They were fixed on the spot. Hopefully the taps hold.

I don’t want to leave a bad review because I haven’t been able to see my shoes yet. I traveled from Stafford to Springfield because I read about great quality work. Well it’s been a month and I’ve traveled 2 hours (there and back) to pick up my shoe's 3 times. FirstTime they were not ready and then last 2 times, including today, a Saturday the store was closed. I requested to have 4 pairs of Frye boots to fix and I just need them back at this point. Not sure what to do because I’m not close to the store. Website says they are not responsible for shoes past 30 days. Each Frye pair of boots is over $300. ??♀️

I had an excellent experience getting a pair of boots fixed here. Not only did they repair the heels, but they also shined the shoes free of charge. They were very fast and I was able to pick up the shoes within two hours of dropping them off.

I dropped my boots off nine days ago to get resoled, dyed and polished and was told to pick them up today, Saturday. Although, the sign on the door says they are open on Saturday, as does the Google post, the door is locked and no one is around. I paid $160 up front. Terrible service! I do NOT recommend.I was expecting to have the boots for tonight. I wish I had read the other reviews. If the work hasn’t been completed, like others have experienced, I would like a refund.

I had a high-end handbag repaired here and the service was amazing. The owner was very kind and took his time. I was getting the stitching repaired which was red in color, he managed to match the colors exactly and it looked like my bag was never damaged to begin with. Great craftsmanship!

This place absolutely SUCKS!!!! firstly of all I dropped off my bag to get my zipper fixed they said they can do it no problem come back in TWO weeks to pick it up and I was wondering why two weeks just to get a zipper fixed but I just said ok and went with the flow TWO weeks later I come back to pick up my bag and he said its not ready yet the zipper I ordered to fix the bag just came in I need a few more days and I said ok whatever I'll come back a few days past I come back and IT'S STILL NOT READY now I'm getting frustrated he said they were busy and didn't have time to fix it come back in a few days and it will be ready I said no I need it by tomorrow he said ok I come back the next day and now the machine to fix it is broken and by this time 3 WEEKS HAVE PAST AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY BAG FIXED STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHUMPS

I am satisfied with the craftsmanship of my shoe care. Santiago is courteous and professional as well. I have to drive quite a distance to get there since my regular cobbler closed last year.
