On a road trip and had an emergency caliper/brake issue. We got really lucky picking this shop! These guys couldn’t have been more accommodating and professional. Their knowledge and expertise got us back on the road and on our way in no time- even on a Saturday. Would not hesitate to use them for all auto issues if you are in the area. Such gentlemen. Friendly and exceptional service. Work completed in a timely manner. I had three motor mounts replaced. I asked if the fourth needed replacing and Raul said no. So happy to have a honest mechanic on speed dial.

Raul and staff did an amazing job, saving my tons of money and prevented me from going to the Volvo dealership. I'm thankful and appreciate the care that was shown to me and my vehicle. I'll definitely be back in a couple of weeks for a transmission flush and an oil change. I appreciate you guys greatly!

Commonwealth Garage is the best auto repair shop I have been to. They have consistently provided excellent services at a fair and reasonable price. Even with OEM parts, costs are usually a fraction of what the dealer charges. The owner/manager Raul is extremely trustworthy, honest, and very easy to reach for any issues. I highly recommend this shop for all your auto repair needs.

I was having issues with my check engine light coming on and off for weeks. The staff was able to get my car serviced quickly. Raul assured me that they wouldn’t stop until the problem was fixed, as it was frustrating to have an engine problem and having to bring back my car. I appreciated their flexibility when I called to drop off my car and Raul was thorough when explaining the work that needed to be done and didn’t try to upsell or overcharge. Woman at the front desk ( I believe her name is Kayla?) was also very friendly on the phone and in person and contacted me with updates on my car. Highly recommended this garage!! Will definitely be a returning customer for my car needs.

I was given amazing service from start to finish. They guided me through the process and also helped me get my cars alignment exactly how I wanted it. I was treated like family even though it was my first time going here. My new one stop shop for everything 10/10 recommend.

Every time or any time I stop by common wealth garage for any services, Raul (aka) the manager goes above and beyond with his customer service! I’ve been a loyal customer at common wealth garage for about 8+ years and I’ve never ever in my life had any issue any of work they’ve done on my cars. Technicians are highly professional and a great customer service as always by Raul!!

My Uber driver recommended this place. I am glad he did. They are friendly, quick, and reliable. Prices are also fair. They replaced my fender liner and splash guard when lots of other mechanics said they could not. Very glad to have found this garage.

Wonderful small business. I found this place online when I was searching for a garage in Alexandria near me. I needed brake fluid flushed, and cabin air filter changed. Called- got an appointment the same day. Raul greeted me; gave me very reasonable price for the service. Very honest and customer service centered. There is nice waiting area with chairs- in case if you have to wait for your car & not just getting dropped off/picked up. I will definitely come back- this is my new go to for any car needs. Thank you Raul!
