Always a pleasant experience at Exline! The technicians are incredibly thorough with their inspection notes and even take pictures of everything that they refer to or work on specifically so you can see. (I hadn't been used to that little luxury in the past). Seems like fair prices. Good quality. I had a great experience with Mo at the front desk, who helped get me all squared away. Great guy! Thanks Exline!Services: Tires

Exline used to be trustworthy and had fair prices and good service. I left 5-star reviews and would use them for everything that I couldn’t do myself. My last two visits left me scratching my head, but yesterday’s visit was completely unacceptable. I brought my Tacoma in for a few minor services, including a safety inspection. They found over $6,000 worth of potential repairs, but thankfully the “courtesy inspection” report said there was nothing that required urgent attention. When I informed the service writer that I only wanted to do the repairs that I came in for, he said his inspector would not pass my vehicle because of the front brakes, which would need to be replaced for around $2,300. After a moment of my dumbfounded silence, he recalculated to $1,800, which is still off-the-charts for a brake job. I did not accept, and as promised, they gave me the FAIL sticker.Today, I took it to another inspector. He read the failure report, put the truck on a lift, and carefully inspected the brakes. He found no issues other than some rust. It passed inspection. Interestingly, he said I was the third customer who recently came from Exline with the same suspicion. Something has definitely changed over there. The owner seems like an honest guy, but in his absence, I wouldn’t trust this shop again.

The manager Mo is kind and honest and I am so glad to have found Exline. Exline did my safety inspection, carefully gave me quotes for recommended work at very reasonable prices, and was very honest about the work I needed. Mo gave me a detailed invoice and didn’t make up any additional work I did not need (unlike some other companies). Thank you, Mo!!

My beloved 1998 minivan had some issues with its brakes and a few other things, so I took it to Exline, who is one of the few places I trust to take care of it correctly. They diagnosed the problem and promptly made the repairs. When I picked it up, it had some difficulty accelerating and they went above and beyond to make sure it was safe and in working order.Service: Brakes

I had been taking my car to Exline automotive for several years without issue. Liz in particular was very conscientious and attentive whenever I interacted with her about scheduling or servie-related questions. Then I experienced an absolute nightmare scenario back in January of 2023.While traveling across country relocating to a new job, the A.T. oil temp light kept flashing on and off. I followed the guidelines in the manual and pulled off to the side of the road until the warning indicator went away. About the 6th time this happened in 300 miles, the car violently seized and downshifted at 80 mph somewhere in the middle of Tennessee. I had the car towed to a local mechanic who specializes in Subarus. After closely inspecting the car, it was this mechanic's opinion that whoever serviced the vehicle last (Exline) drained my gear box fluid thinking it was the transmission fluid. They then filled my transmission fluid thinking that fluid was drained and therefore overfilled the transmission. With nowhere to expand when this fluid heated, the fluid could no longer absorb heat and it cooked. The result is that I had to pay this mechanic ~$5000 to replace the transmission. I had to pay for a tow across country which was another $1200. I also incurred another $1000 in hotel expenses. I had always seen very young mechanics working for Exline when I would take my car in. I never thought it would cost me thousands. What was Exline's response? They tried to claim that my vehicle transmission "was probably already on its way out" and that the other mechanic who has over 20 years of experience "didn't know what he was talking about." This is obviously absurd, insulting, and infuriating. The only thing George from Exline agreed to pay was $500, which was the cost of a transmission flush.Do not take your vehicle here. I wouldn't want to wish what happened to me on anyone. And the response from Exline tells you all you need to know: they will screw you over and won't stand by their work. I will be posting this review to as many review sites as I can to expose this company.

I have been using Exline for years, and they do take good care of you, and give you the straight scoop on what's going on with your car. I had some issues with the new brakes they put into my Kia Sorento, and after a number of visits back in which they swapped out the problematic brake parts for new ones, the issues continued. They then ordered all news Kia manufacturer brake parts to replace the aftermarket brand, and the problems were solved. Always recommended!Services: Tires

Got my safety inspection here on the last day of the month. Everywhere else had hours of wait time. I called and George told me I can leave my car here and he’ll have in done in an hour. Everything was smooth and got a text an hour later with a report letting me know my car had passed and any minor things that needed to be looked at with pictures. Made everything very easy!Service: Vehicle safety inspection

My Subaru sedan needed a head gasket repair and got much needed TLC at Exline. Mo was very thorough explaining what was needed and patiently answered all my questions. Due to the extensive repairs taking a few weeks, regular updates were provided and much appreciated. I never felt left in the dark and the work done was stellar. The staff at Exline are courteous and trustworthy. She lives to see another day!

High mileage Diesel Van that worked all its life so far, was towed in with the menu of problems as scheduled maintenance was discontinued and it was sold off. Finally made it to Exline and Patrick and George managed to give us a path to keeping "Beast" running. This is a well run and honest shop. Time is charged for any services or estimates that require labor, and that is only fair. You cannot align a car with bad wheels or bearings, now can you? Waste of time and alignment. Loose tension pulley stretches the belts, etc. If a repair is done and a problem returns or still exists take the vehicle back and talk over a solution. You drive it all the time and know the sounds and vibrations and "ticks" but there is no way for a tech and or the mechanic to be as familiar as you are with YOUR vehicle. Remember the more you can clearly communicate to the shop the better the results. And always ask the cost of diagnostic work involved to get an estimate, currently even a SCAN is not as simple or quick as 5 years ago and the equipment to scan is a computer - Say no more.
