I live so close to this Giant that I could walk to it, so the location is convenient, but the pharmacy staff is so unbelievably unpleasant that I transferred all of my medications to a different pharmacy chain. The pharmacists never pick up the phone and when they do, they are so incredibly rude, condescending and unpleasant that it’s absolutely shocking. The convenience of the location is not enough to make up for the repeated episodes of poor customer service, so I take my business elsewhere.

So wonderful that I’m able to walk here from home! The shirts the staff wears are completely true! I can count on them!!!

Had a brief, but pleasant experience with Paramjit. Just appreciated her smile and calm friendliness, and professionalism.
Earlier that day, I came by and was walking in as your employee, Katie Leddon(I remember her from high school and middle school) was coming out. She smiled kindly at me as I passed her. I just appreciate little things.
Added November 21, 2025: The young man, cashier, Dominic, has been quite pleasant giving decent customer service.

I had a bad experience. They force you to use the self checkout by having only one cashier on, yet the self-checkout machines are inefficient and keeps giving errors.

They just renevated the store making the isles wider yet manage to make them more narrow by putting more floor displays in the middle of them. I consistently struggle in the morning to be able to shop between stocking and u-boats in the aisles.
Regularly the prices listed and the prices at the register don't match or there will be sales tags that should have been pulled that aren't. For example, I attempted to buy chicken breast that showed that it was one price on the chicken and when I got to the register it did not reflect the sale price that was showing on the chicken charging me an extra couple dollars per pound. When I brought this to the attention of the store they acted like it was my problem where the meat department's problem and that there was no issue.
Then they wanted to take a picture of the product so they go back and fix it after I packed my bags pulling the items out of the bag that I had and then not presenting me the bag the way I had it packed nice and neat to make sure nothing got smashed.
I've spoken to the storm manager previously about some of these issues but nothing ever changes. I feel like I can get better deals at other grocery stores as well even though this is the most conveniently located one to me.
Then they have a poor user experience with the point of sales system that they utilize. And it's especially terrible if you're trying to use it at self-checkout. At this point, after my experiences today with poor customer management from the customer service manager, I don't know that I'll be returning.

months old expired cheeses, slimy and stinky lamb chops and other meat items. produce is flavorless and bland, under ripe and over priced. items like orange juice or lettuce is more expensive but smaller size bottles and boxes… quality has gone extremely downhill at this store. yuck. hope i don’t get sick!
store manager is rude and inappropriate around customers and towards employees. constant loud cussing from store manager towards employees. my boyfriend works here, when i call him during work hours i often times hear inappropriate conversations or words near him and i ask “who is that speaking that way next to you” he replies “oh that’s just the store manager he just talks to us like that”…. often times many employees are huddled around conversing instead of helping customers or working. in the front end and towards the back of the store. managers are childesh and passive aggressive, when an employee does not meet there standards they do not communicate these issues with said employee rather they cut there hours and pay hoping the employee quits. produce/meat/dairy is a mess and the management is even more of a mess.

Bakery staff was really helpful and the lady called me to make sure they had my order correct and she checked again when I came to pick it up. Great customer service!

Decent Giant. decent workers, management takes forever sometimes. Renovations have definitely made this place look a lot better. However, the produce is iffy (unless you're buying stuff that's local). Honestly, could do better, management could do a lot better with managing the place and spending the budget on keeping their products fresh. Even then, this place is adequate if you're only purchasing junk food. Been in better places. Wish some of the more important staff were more professional while around customers. I see the supposed "store manager" sometimes that my family and I come here, but I never see him do anything other than just walk around and talk. I suppose he's doing his job, but it would help if they could help out some of the other workers when they need help when the other managers are busy. makes for long wait times.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Saba in Bakery always has a big smile and ready to help. She would always check inside to make sure the store has enough bakery goods if we cannot find anything. With the renovation going on, the store looks so much spacious and modern.
We been shopping at this Giant for over 20 years or eversince it opened.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt the need to review a grocery store before, but Spencer at the checkout was really genuine and cool.

Weird location, expensive, bad produce (also most expensive in the area), and for some reason you can’t get reception when you’re here. Avoid this Giant and just go to any other grocery store in the area.

Some genius decided you can't purchase other items when you're picking up your prescriptions (you know, because going through TWO check-outs is a better customer experience). So if you're wondering why the Naked fruit juices, which require refrigeration, end up sitting in the unrefrigerated water aisle, that's just me dropping my stuff on my way out. Between the degradation of customer convenience and the loss you'll take for rotten food being left at random places by the disgruntled, maybe reconsider this idiotic policy that I've never had a problem with anywhere else in the entire country. I know this isn't a chain problem because when I go to the Giant in Woodbridge, I can buy a juice at the pharmacy counter - it's just the one at Huntsman. Good job, store manager.
