My infant had to get a blood draw for the first time and we were nervous, especially with the negative reviews, but we had the BEST experience. The staff were friendly and the person who did my baby’s blood draw was quick, efficient, and incredibly sweet. I wish I’d caught her name because she really made all the difference!

I looked on Google to see when they’re normally not as busy and made an appointment for then. I got in in around 5 minutes which, for a LabCorps, is unheard of in this area! Abi (not sure of spelling) was so friendly, as were all of the other employees I talked to/overheard. If you’re going to get bloodwork in the area, be sure to go to this location!!! They could be trainers on customer service!

Don't . Appointment at 14:15 wasn't seen until 14:45. That was after getting there early

Some of the staff are responsive/attentive; however they really don’t honor the appointments made online and in advance - major issue with the review. Walk-ins supersede any advanced appointments and the process for entry can be greatly streamlined - allowing medical orders submitting prior to arrival, etc. I had previously used to going to Quest Labs were (with appointment) I never waited more than 5-10 mins ever.

Today (06/07/2025)
The man at the front desk was very kind especially being 7:34am. I understand the wait so I didn’t mind that.
However, the phlebotomist that took my blood was an old short lady with curly hair and an accent (said she was 69yrs). She was VERY unprofessional. VERY aggressive taking my blood. When I checked in she was arguing with the man at the front desk. When it was my turn, she kept saying things like “I don’t want to be here, I can leave right now if I wanted to” “I don’t like working on Saturdays” “I applied to another job yesterday but I don’t want to work anymore” “I can teach but I don’t want to do this, I’m good at it but I don’t want to”. She says she’s been doing this forever YET she forgets to confirm with me if my name is on the blood sample at the end. I stayed nice because I was not trying to have her just stab me anywhere.
I know there’s not much this review can do but that lady should not be working as a phlebotomist.
I only gave 3 stars because of the man at the front! Props to him for having to deal with a coworker like her!!!

I just have the worst Experience.
The most concerning part of this experience involved the blood draw for my daughter. Sarah grabbed my daughter's arm very hard, using a tourniquet. She then inserted the needle and proceeded to fill the first blood collection tube without removing the tourniquet, which I understand is not standard procedure. When she attempted to fill a second tube, no blood flowed. Despite this, and visibly causing my daughter discomfort (her arm became purple and red), Sarah told me to be quiet and let her do her job when I expressed concern and asked her to stop.
Due to Sarah's apparent lack of skill and unprofessional conduct, the blood draw was unsuccessful, and we now have to repeat the test. I was appalled by her demeanor, especially towards a child, and her insistence on continuing despite clear issues. Her behavior was so egregious that I considered contacting the police at the time.

Zero stars. Find another option if you can. Preregistration was pointless. Sent me a QR code but had no scanner. Had to manually enter all my info to basically re-register when I got there. Arrived twenty minutes early for my scheduled appointment and was not seen until an hour after my scheduled appointment. Just to take two minutes to draw some blood. Waiting area was super crowded with most ppl standing waiting to be seen. Made me late to pick up my child. And asked if I would leave a review. Here it is. Thanks for nothing.

I called few day prior to go to get the drug test for school to the location on 6120 Brandon Ave STE 105, Springfield, VA 22150 if I need an appointment for a school drug test and they told me I can do walk in. On Friday, May 23rd I woke up early to be there at 7:00 am. I follow what the lab technician told me to sign in the kiosk but they system automatically schedule me for an appointment for Tuesday May 27th, and I didn’t select the option and then I told the technician about the mistake and she told me what do I want her to do. She was rude and disrespectful and discriminated against my person. If I can give no star I would so disrespectful place. I void coming here!

This was my second visit at this location—fast, easy, professional. I don’t understand all the negative reviews. But with barely 200 reviews for a location that likely sees more patients than that in a single day, it tells me that they aren’t an accurate representation of the average patient’s experience.

I will say this location is better than the other labcorp I’ve gone to near me, but I recently had a very frustrating issue. Almost two weeks ago I had two doctors orders for blood work that needed to be done at the same time. One doctor ordered two different things to be drawn; the one more important than the other. I have severe iron deficiency and my iron needed to be drawn ASAP. After waiting 10 days for results I realized something must be wrong. Finally, I had my doctor contact labcorp and turns out they never performed the iron panel. I’ve been very sick. I came to the same labcorp today asking them to take me as soon as possible. They were not at all apologetic and did not take me right away. They basically just told me to wait. The waiting room was freezing and I started losing circulation in my extremities (partially due to my iron deficiency.) I will not be coming here again- very poor customer service.

Labcorp at Brandon Avenue rocks!
I went to this Labcorp for a walk-in to get some blood work I needed expeditiously.
Despite having only one computer running due to the CrowdStrike/Windows Update issue, the staff calmly and very professionally handled the situation. They kept the process flowing and serving all the customer as they were arriving.
Excellent Job guys. I would visit Labcorp at this location without hesitation.

I was a walk-in for blood work. There were many people there, some appointments and some other walk-ins. I self-checked in on the kiosk. I was at the top of the list on their tv monitor and shortly called to the front desk and then asked to take a seat to wait to be called back. It was lovely and pleasant up until then. After an hour of waiting, I went to the front desk because they have a sign that says if you’re waiting longer than 30 minutes, to go to them. I kindly asked if they knew when I’d be seen. I received a runaround about serving appointments first. I then asked about how this other woman who came in much after me was called in before me (her last name that they said out loud was listed on the tv monitor as a walk-in). This same lady had also gone up to them earlier and complained about waiting. The front desk lady mumbled and then gaslit me “If you’re standing here taking up my time, I can’t get through these things I have to do and it’ll take longer to see you.” I was seen after waiting 1hr 15 mins. The lab tech was really nice and quick.

Very happy with all staff today! Writing from the parking lot right after my visit for routine blood work. Was nervous because of the reviews so I showed up just before 7:30 opening and there was already a line of 10 people that grew to +30 within minutes of doors opening. We split into two lines to check in on the touchpads and within 26 minutes I (along with a good 10 others) was seen and were walking out. Yulanda graciously confirmed my appointment and answered all questions quickly, and Tiffany was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and answered my many questions despite the morning rush. After a rough experience at another lab, this reset my hope for what it should be like! They even have a sign up saying if you have been waiting more than 30 minutes come up to the window ??????

Terrible customer service. Could not understand the technician while she had both a heavy accent and mask on. Gives me an attitude because I cannot understand her mumbling. Unfriendly. Early check in was useless considering it did not lessen the wait time. Front desk staff couldn't care less. This could be a reflection of management. Would not recommend this location
