Lake Accotink Park is a tranquil and quiet 493-acre park near the beltway. It provides excellent opportunities to relax and enjoy natural resources with a beautiful view of the lake. The park offers many family-friendly activities, including picnic areas, party shelters, a kids entertainment area, and rides right on the lake. There is a long trail system for walking, running, or biking along the edge of the lake and through wooded areas. Waterfront activities include kayaking, fishing, and riding paddle boats on the lake, though the water can be murky and shallow in places. It is a gorgeous neighborhood park and a beautiful space where people can go for free to have fun with family and friends.
We came here to join the Bug Fest Event. It’s great! Not just my kid but myself learned a lot about bugs and plants. We also played playground and mini golf. This is a clean and convenient place, very organized and maintained.
