Buyers getting balikbayan boxes from this place, beware!
If your balikbayan boxes are picked up from your home, you will be required to pay the full price of the shipping cost. The shipping company will not honor the initial deposit you placed at this store.
Here’s the kicker: the deposit made at the store that was supposed to be deducted from the total shipping cost (which is a payment to the shipping company, not the store) will not be returned by the store. The store claims they inform customers about this policy (I was not made aware). I know that I am not the only one who has experienced this deception.

There are not a lot of options and zero customer services. Look kind of sad place. Can't run a business without engagement and improvement of any sorts.

Decent place to get your local Filipino food. Grocery supplies are not bad either. Would highly recommend this place.

Why hidden gem, Looking at it from the outside you wouldn't know it also had a restaurant in the back cranking out some delicious authentic Filipino cuisine. The dishes are different on the daily, and the desserts are a must try as well. Good portions for the price. I didn't like that the lumpia was soggy and very oily. The Ube dessert wasn't my favorite either, but the Cassava one was. The ladies at the counter are so kind and hospitable, they get 5 stars for their service.

Love the food here! Some of our favorites are the pancit, lumpia, Milk Fish, Pork Belly lechón! Unfortunately for us, we ended up coming 15 mins before closing and all they had was the Milk Fish & Pork Belly Lechón.But...this time there was something different that caught our eye.Chicken Green Curry! The flavor profile I'm was perfection with a much lower heat level than most traditional Currys, nevertheless, it was delicious!Tip:1. Be careful when eating it though there are small bones in the curry (which is normal if you throw the whole chicken in the pot to break down).2. Come right when they open if you can for fresh Milk Fish!3. The pork belly Lechón comes with a sauce reminiscent of cinnamon apple sauce which you typically eat with Pork chops in the south. This is something I thought was only a practice of southern cooks but it looks like the Philippines know about this amazing duo well enough to have created their own spin-off sauce!4. On the Market side is where you pay.5. Shop first then order your food- you'll end up paying for both in the same8 time.Prayesrvm ><<

I went to check out the market and discovered that it was also a very reasonably priced takeout/cafe. My $14.63 got me two vegetable lumpia ($1.19 each), a two item combo of crispy pork and a beef stew ($9), and a slice of sapin sapin ($3.25) for dessert. A great place to try Filipino food.

Not very friendly staff unlike the other Filipino stores I been to. Like your bothering them when you ask a question.

This place is kinda dirty. A lot of what they are selling are "old", expired. The freezer sometimes are not working, but there are still food inside that has defrosted. Vegetables are either wilted and or old. Staffs are not friendly especially this one particular woman who I think is the supervisor is mean and so unfriendly...like she does not like people.

The only mom/pop style Pilipino food style restaurant in the DMV area! I had the chicken adobo and it had the perfect amount of soy sauce and vinegar combination-yummy! If it was closer to home I'd be coming her literally every week!

My husband and I are happy to be able to go to the filipino store and my mameet kang kabayan. When we entered the store we said hello but the cashier didn't even pay attention to us. (Maybe we just didn't listen or we were just tired) When we got home I was excited to taste the hopian pork because that's my favorite. It's very bitter, it's my mold.
