My tire was going flat and it was totally dark in the pouring rain. They were closed and he still took my car in anyways and patched the tire and had me back on the road in no time. It’s clear they take extreme pride in their craft and are good people to boot.

I am super grateful to the men at this shop that jumped in to help me when my brakes stopped working. I’m not sure what his name is, but I believe he was the “Master Mechanic” and he went above and beyond to fix my car quickly and efficiently. I told him I was not from the area and he began working on my car immediately so I didn’t have to sit around the area waiting. Thank you guys so much for your help, I will send all of my friends in the area to your shop!

I want to say I was having a lot of issues with my BMW. And to get a simple inspection and have my car look over was going to be pricey. Kevin did it for a third of the price, a solid honest mechanic is hard to find. Glad I met you sir!

I visited Master Auto based on a friend’s recommendation and had my 2007 Mazda 6 serviced for brake pad and rotor replacement. The service was excellent, clear and reliable, and the price was very reasonable. I’m very satisfied and will definitely come back if I need any future work. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Mr. Hwang at Master Auto since 2020, and my grandfather was a loyal customer before me. Most recently, I brought in my 2002 Toyota Avalon because the windows wouldn’t roll up—he fixed it the same day and even repaired my left blinker for free. He also replies to my texts whenever I have car trouble questions. He’s honest, fair with pricing, and always goes above and beyond. His team is friendly and welcoming too. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Thank you, Mr. Hwang and Master Auto!

I have a Honda 2016 CRV and have it maintained and repaired only in close Honda dealerships until last year. However, I've looked for a relatively inexpensive and trustworthy auto shop since the closest Honda dealership has often recommended/encouraged expensive services. I was introduced to the Master Auto shop by my friend this year, and started having my car maintained from early this year. After a couple of experiences in repairing my car in this shop, I can conclude this auto shop is trustworthy. The owner of the shop recommends only necessary services at reasonable prices. For instance, Honda dealership encouraged me to change of tie rods which costs more than $1000. To be honest, I immediately suspect necessity of this service and visited the Master Auto to discuss with this issue. The owner of the shop checked and said no need to change the tie rod, also it would not be that expensive even if it were changed.
I am confident to recommend this auto shop to my friends. I also thank the friend who introduced this auto shop to me.

I have been going to Master Auto Care since 2003 and Kevin is the only mechanic I trust with my cars (1989 and 2008 Hondas) . Even after I moved away from Fairfax to Rosslyn, I would always bring my cars to him when his shop was in Springfield/Fairfax. Really happy now that he's moved to Falls Church which is closer. Kevin and his mechanics are the reason why my car (2008 Honda) is still running well even after 17 years.
He is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and listens to his customers. Will let you know when something really needs to be replaced or repaired and will not overcharge you. You know that Master Auto Care does an excellent job at what they do when you have customers queuing up at the garage to get their vehicles fix/service.

My wife brought her car in for an oil change. Then they “confused” her car with another and were halfway through her break replacement when they “recognized” their mistake. Offered a $50 discount to continue with the replacement… a $400 charge instead of $450. This was in addition to other items they removed from her car during the confused “service” and tried to quote her for repairs she never asked.
They then used photos of her car that they sent to another customer to try and quote for various repairs. My wife found out about this because the mechanic Han sent screenshots of the other conversation.
Kevin tried to downplay everything saying it was a translation issue and ignoring the fact they mixed up cars and started performing services she never asked for.
Never using them or trusting them again.

I regularly bring my car here for services like oil changes, inspections, and tire replacements. The owner mechanic, Kevin, recommends only the services that are truly necessary and always offers fair, reasonable pricing. He never tries to upsell, and runs his business with integrity.
In my opinion, having a trustworthy mechanic is essential for car maintenance and repairs. If you’re looking for a reliable “primary doctor” for your car, I highly recommend this shop.

well, this is my first time writing a google review... Master auto is the only mechanic shop I recommend to others. I’ve been going there since 2007. Kevin has a way of saving me money—even when I come in expecting to spend.
Once, I visited to replace my five year old battery, he said it would last much longer. So here I am—back after six months, finally getting it replaced.
Another time, I heard a high-pitched squeak when braking. I was out of town and stopped by a random shop—they suggested changing the pads. Back home, I went to Kevin. He just cleaned them, and the noise was gone, omg.
Even a dealership commented on how well maintained my car was when I brought it in for a recall issue a few years ago. I always bring my car to him, that’s all thanks to Kevin.
