Came in at opening time Sunday (Easter) morning to get my TB test read. Quick and easy. The minute clinic area is very nice I have never seen another CVS with a big dedicated face for a minute clinic. Chelsea, the NP on duty was very nice. I would recommend coming here for non urgent/life-threatening care.

Horrible experience! I was sick. Went in for check up and dont have an insurance. I believe the nurse was middle eastern but she asked me how long have i been sick for. I told her two days. She gave me nothing but told me to take an OTC medication and charged me 165$$. If it was an OTC medication i could have gone to the pharmacist and have gotten a recommendation for free. Do not go there for check ups. They just care to make money.

Went in for some routine tests and a flu shot. In and out in no time, super helpful staff. Everything was great.

I've used this minute clinic a ton of times throughout my life, since it's the closest, and it has consistently been late every time i've gone. I've used other minute clinics in other areas and those have run perfectly fine; I make an appointment and around the time of that appointment I'm let in and given whatever help necessary swiftly and efficiently. At this minute clinic, however, every time I go they are running at LEAST 35 minutes behind schedule, often even more. I don't understand how this even happens when they have an appointment system, especially when it clearly isn't happening to this extent at other locations. I don't know what this location is doing so wrong to cause them to run this late every single time I come in but it's very frustrating and completely undermines the purpose of making appointments for specific times. Part of it might be that I've watched them take in multiple people who didn't have appointments, while people with appointments for that time are passed over. I don't see why on Earth they would operate in that way, what the point of making an appointment is if others can walk in without one and be treated during my appointment time as well as after i've already been waiting 30+ minutes. It's all ridiculous, honestly, especially because of the fact that I only experience this to this level at this specific location.

the nurse practitioner I saw tested me for mono after I came in with severe sore throat symptoms. she misread the control on the rapid mono test as a positive result, telling me that the faint blue line that “appeared” meant I had mono. After looking up the directions for this mono test kit, two lines are supposed to appear for a positive result. I am absolutely embarrassed by the fact that she could not perform a basic mono test, and she even prescribed my corticosteroids for her false diagnosis. Thankfully, I did not take them as I figured the results were not reliable, though I thought I could trust a nurse practitioner to be able to tell the difference between positive and negative on a rapid mono test. Do not go to this location, you would be better off going to INOVA, like I did, where I was cleared for mono and instead given antibiotics for the bacterial infection I had instead.

Went in just over a week ago. They managed to barely get the thermometer in my ear so it showed I had no temperature, even though I know I did. Then told me that I just had something viral. No real tests, even though I had Covid symptoms. I ended up going to my doctor a few days later and had the flu. Too late by then to take anything for it. But I probably could have if I had been tested for it when I first came here. This is not the only minuteclinic I've had bad experiences with.

Extremely incompetent staff. Took a TB test for a job and the nurse gave me the wrong instructions (an appointment for after 72 hrs. when the test is no longer valid; go figure). But they still charged my health insurance for the test, didn't return my PII documents, and didn't even have the decency to offer me another TB test free of charge. What a waste and what a disaster this place is.

I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time only for the provider to repeatedly refuse to wash their hands after pushing trash down into the trash can with her bare hand. At that point I didn’t trust the clinic whatsoever. Will never attempt to utilize another Waste-60-Minutes-of-Your-Life Clinic.

I was seen in mid October 2020 at the Cardinal Forest Minute Clinic for a red blistery rash on my knee. I was told that I had cellulitis and was given antibiotics. When there was no improvement after 3 days, I went to my own internist,, and was diagnosed with SHINGLES. The Nurse at Minute Clinic completely misdiagnosed me, which caused delay in my shingles treatment( the need for an antiviral prescription).. Not pleased. This should have been a no brainer for a medical person to diagnose.

Easily wait 30-45 mins on avg - not convenient at all. Go to urgent care across the street, it’s actually run well

We were so appreciative of the kind and quality care received. The thoughtful follow up call received today checking in was really nice.
