La Latina is a small little latin market, located in the Commerce Plaza. They offer you basic groceries, produce, meats, and a frozen section, as well as a MoneyGram service on site.I came here looking for some large-sized tortillas, but, unfortunately, they only carried one brand. Upon checking out, the the barcode was not ringing up the price, in which she went back to the tortilla section, trying to look for the price. No price was listed, so she asked other staff members, but they didn't know, either.Going back to the front, she made up an amount and stated it was $5.90 - um, ma'am, I don't think so. I am not paying $6 for packaged tortillas, which were not even housemade!Definitely didn't like the shadiness, so I decided to go to another mart, which ended up costing me $4, for the same exact product!Note that they are 2 lines up at the front - one for the cashier for groceries, and one for money orders.Tight parking in the plaza lot.+makes up exorbitant prices+located in the Commerce Plaza+tight parking available in the shared lot

Nice little Latin market located in Springfield across the street from pollo campero and mikes american grill. The store doesn't have a lot of produce, if you need your aguacate or tomatoes or other produce, you'll need to go somewhere else. They quality of meat here is really good, we always come here for chorizos or carne asada style meat. They have tons of cookies, candy, spices, cheese, and cream from all different types of countries from El Salvador to Honduras to Argentina. Come try it out!

Everything I bought here was expired. Four bags of chips, a pack of flour tortillas, and two drinks. The chips all expired within a few months ago. The tortillas where the freshest out of any of the items I bought but even that expired a month ago. It looks like they bought the tortillas at Walmart and marked up the price. I buy the same brand there for cheaper. I didn't return anything because I was already a few minutes down the road eating my stale chips which is when I noticed a soda expired a half a year ago. I ended up throwing everything out. Stay away this place is disgusting.

Nice store you wanna know why? I can get Cristal beer here from Peru. I love this beer and I have been searching everywhere for it. I first tried it at Pio Pio in Hell's Kitchen Manhattan NYC and feel in love with it. I have found it in a couple Peruvian Restaurants in the Washington DC area but never in a retail store until my by chance visit to La Latina Market in Springfield Virginia. It's not the only reason I like this store. It's a small store but it has the merchandise of a full size grocery store. The even have a small but nice fresh meat department and fresh vegetables. The store of course is geared towards Latinos but is really a nice market for anyone and I think some people miss out by not going in and trying these neat little markets. I didn't use to but now I love trying different foods from other cultures. Not only main course meals but things like chips and desserts and here they have plenty of all of that to sample. Now that I know they sell a beer I like I'm sure I'll be stopping by more often and checking out the stores other merchandise.

Amazing little place with a lot of Argentine products and a good butcher shop. They are very nice people and the meat is really good. The butcher might give you a discount if you buy a whole bag of beef.

More than once I've found products here that I remember fondly from travels and that I couldn't find anywhere else. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.
