Celine is amazing!!! Her nailed the honey blonde look and is a pro with wavy curly hair cut. The rest of the staff are also awesomely talented. Can’t recommend enough their haircare and them as humans!

I asked for layers. I did not get layers. I knew the price would be over $100 (which is much more than I’ve ever paid for a basic cut) but my hair wasn’t even checked after it was cut. I chose to sit under the dryer, instead of pay for her to dry my hair, because I could just not stand to pay more money for a hair cut that took less than 20 minutes.
Anyway - I have hair that is just one length and for my wedding day no less. Oh well, I styled it well enough for my wedding.
And before I have the comment of - you didn’t let us know - how would I have known? Ive never been to a place that they don’t at least blow dry the hair??? Even it it’s not styled, to ensure they’ve cut it properly.
Maybe they’re good for dying your hair, but if you just want a simple cut, find some place else.

One of the best salons in the DMV. Would highly recommend. Personally only had my hair done by Shelby but the other staff have always been wonderful.

Tl;Dr - sticker shock and unhappy with pixie/short haircut
I have a little past shoulder length hair and got my first salon haircut here and really liked it. So much so, I sent my younger brother, who has similar hair to mine, here to get his first salon cut too, as a birthday present. But he ended up with a cut similar to his normal haircut from the barber and was charged $170 after his appointment, while I walked out of there spending $120. Which is hard to rationalize the cost when he has much shorter hair than me. And the fact that they quoted $80-$150 with the caveat that it most probably won't be close to $150.
I called the salon up and asked for a breakdown of the cost and I was told that he asked for touchups (because he was unhappy with the original cut) and a diffuse, which costs extra. And the rate is by the 5 minutes, so I guess these touchups took extra time. It feels like he was taken advantage of because he was new to all of this, and he definitely doesn't look like he got a $170 haircut.
I liked my haircut from here personally, but I'll be looking for a new salon.

It is very difficult to agree on an appointment. The main objective: to please the staff, but not the customer (even after more decades of helping this business by being a loyal customer).
Our cooperation became to an end.

I've been there three times already, and each time, everyone has been great!! They are so nice and professional, and do a great job at cuts and colors. For any curly haired people out there I highly recommend them!!

I recently got my haircut here by the owner Priti,I hope I'm spelling that correctly,anyways the whole experience was flawless,from start to finish. I was a walk in and in a hurry and the girl at the front desk was very pleasant and did everything she could to get me in a chair and a haircut as fast as possible,which I appreciate! My haircut was exactly what I asked for and the owner Priti Was very exceptional at everything she did from the haircut to running her salon. That was my experience,hard to believe any of the negative reviews,and if I'm ever in the Springfield area again I will go back.Service: Haircut

I cannot recommend this place enough!!! This is the second time I’ve gotten my curly hair cut by Shelby and she is absolutely delightful. She listens to what I requested and made my hair even better then what I imagined. Everyone here is so so nice and I haven’t had a better experience elsewhere!! :)Service: Haircut

Can’t believe there’s so many good reviews. They don’t even deserve a 1 star. This place is overpriced for no reason, and they do a poor job at hair. Do your research and find somewhere better that can actually provide good service.This place is not it. Dishonest, unprofessional, and unskilled. The stylist had no idea how to cut hair, worst experience. Do not recommend this salon.

If I could rate this salon for 0 stars trust me when I say I would. I have never gone to a more unprofessional place than the “kindest” cut. The stylist Priti was way too nervous to be cutting hair, she didn’t even know how to create the style of bangs my cousin wanted & was looking to ME to make sure she had done it correctly. If she had acknowledged that she didn’t know how to cut curtain bangs she should’ve said that & my cousin wouldn’t have to wait YEARS for her hair to grow back. Mind you, this “stylist” cut out CHUNKS of my cousins hair in places that were not necessary at all for the style of bangs she wanted and she also cut it while her hair was DRY. What kind of “professional” even does that?! When we went to ask for a refund, the poor receptionist could even tell that her hair looked choppy & didn’t even look professionally done. I feel genuinely embarrassed for this salon. The workers that were there when my cousin RIGHTFULLY asked for a refund were laughing & weren’t even sorry for the damage they had done. Please, please, PLEASE, do yourself a favor & find another salon in the area. It really isn’t worth coming here. Was not worth the price of $50, my cousin looks like she cut her hair on her own (actually she probably would’ve done better than thee “professional” with “23 years of experience”)

The service here is horrible! I came In with my sister who was getting her hair done by Priti. She completely messed her hair up and did not even acknowledge how uneven and choppy it was. When we pointed it out, she told us it’s supposed to be uneven. Since when is hair supposed to be uneven ?! Who wants uneven hair when they leave the salon. Sad excuse of a hairstylist. After seeing how she does hair, I do not recommend her to anyone.
