I’ve had a good experience with the staff at this location, but it was a horrible experience trying to purchase a framing and roof truss package from them.
I was assigned to the Rachel Carter team and the entire process was a complete disaster. When I received my first quote it was not itemized and very informal- just three prices in an email. After construction delays I needed them to re-quote everything. My requests went completely unanswered until I had a manager reach out to the sales person. It then took weeks to get a quote and my follow emails were often ignored. When I received the pricing, it was in the same lazy format as before, but the prices were clearly off- they didn’t even quote the entire roof truss package, just a small portion of what I needed. I asked them to fix this and never heard back.
At the end of the day, I literally couldn’t purchase from them if I wanted to. I still haven’t had a response. I was last contacted 3/17/25 and we are well into April. I will also note that another staff member was not surprised by my experience with the Rachel Carter Team. These delays cost me a lot of money because I wasn’t shopping with other companies. I ended up contacting Carter Lumber in Maryland and had the exact opposite experience.

Per phone call was told services (cutting of purchased lumber) would be done. After making the drive was told not gonna happen. Thumbs down 👎 thumbs down 👎

I’m very disappointed about this place is not a first time I went there trying to get some quote help ,last time I went there to get a quote for a 300 linear foot fence as soon I walked in I saw the face of the guy looking me and I said I need help to get a quote for a 300 linear foot fence immediately he told me do you the list I said yes I have some and he said you got a have because I can’t seat down with you to help you figure out what you need ,I fe the guy very unhelpful because we don’t leave start nothing and he already told me that,when we go to those places off course we need some help I think is that is why they are there to help the customers,that’s is the second time this happened, TW PERRY IS NOT A GOOD PLACE ANYMORE IS SAD,I just walked away went to Lowe’s guy help me I order and done, that way places keep shutting down if you don’t have Custumer service you have no business.

This is my second post. The first post described how the TW Perry driver parked in front of my garage and driveway illegally and block my car wouldn't move quickly. Wouldn't apologize and made me wait for him until he did all his work. I told dispatch.And he said the manager would call me back. The manager did call back. I believe it was a manager. He would not identify himself, but he said rudely to my wife because she answered that he had the right to park there and was very short with her and eventually hung up on her. This is unacceptable. I plan to take this higher with the TW Perry company until I get an apology for blocking me in my garage And parking in a very illegally marked area in front of my house. If this is how they run their business. I would never go to them personally.

A large truck parked right in front of my driveway and garage he was dropping off supplies. He saw me standing there trying to get out and wouldn't move. He took his time and didn't say he was sorry or apologize or even acknowledged that he was parked illegally as 3 signs posted showed that he was. He took his. Time leaving and made a rude comment about being the only place to park. I called the dispatcher and asked that the manager be notified of his illegal parking in front of my garage. I have not heard from him yet.

A friend recommended TW Perry. We found exactly what we needed to replace our 30-year old front porch railings. We replaced the deteriorating, high-maintenance, wood railings with new manufactured materials which replicate the details of our Williamsburg styled home. I found the TW Perry team very responsive to their "Phone/ "TXT" system. I especially want to thank Kelli Fernandez for her 5-Star, exceptional assistance throughout our ordering process. Worst doors salesman ever. Rude and lazy. He treated me like I am ignorant. He actually refused to help me unless I tell him exactly what kind of doors I need. Then someone else came to help(Mary). She was nice but she said that they were on commission so if I am buying from someone else's account she will not get paid. I don't need to know that you either sincerely help or do not bother.
