I had my hair done by someone who claimed she is a master stylist and has won awards/accolades by Ulta. However she kept pushing me to add more services to the point I was ready to leave. I told her I cannot spend more than what I am already paying. Sbe proceeded to guilt me into thinking my hair would be in shambles without extra toner and deep conditioner. She repeatedly asked me personal questions even though I stated I was not comfortable talking about my private life. In the end, I ended up with a very basic cut and horrible highlights. She did not listen to anything I asked. I ended up with blond hair when I specifically said I do not want blonde hair ! Waste of money

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Chau C., Master Stylist at Ulta Beauty, and she was absolutely amazing! I came in after cutting my own hair at home, and she completely transformed it. She gave my hair beautiful shape, style, and life again. She’s not only talented, but also so kind, professional, and detail-oriented. I left feeling confident and so happy with my look. Highly recommend Chau to anyone who wants their hair to look its absolute best!

Am not from this area. This store is filthy. The testing shelves are horrendous, and this was a friday night. No one greeted me when I entered the store. No one asked if they could help me find something. I rarely shop at ulta anymore, so if I go there, I am looking for something specific. I do Not recommend this location

Utla Beauty in Springfield VA off of Frontier Dr was great. I had a return that was accepted with no hassle, and experienced fantastic customer service to help choose products. Very bright and clean looking store with easy parking.

Staff here is pretty much useless. They will completely ignore you and are also lazy! I asked about a very popular product, and the lady I asked said they don’t carry the item. I looked around a bit more and found the display I was looking for which had plenty of product. Starting to think they just get paid to walk around and look like they are actually doing work. I challenge the store manager or district manager to review whatever footage they have to see if their staff is actually deliecering quality customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with stylist Betty T.
I booked a hair appointment online based on the stylist’s listed availability. However, 40 minutes before the scheduled time, stylist Betty T. called and asked me to come in immediately. I let her know it would take me 20 minutes to arrive, but she said she had another customer and couldn’t take me anymore. She then cancelled my appointment without offering a proper explanation, and I received a notification marking the appointment as “past,” which was confusing and misleading.
On top of that, her tone during the call was rude and unprofessional. I expected better treatment and communication—especially from a brand like Ulta. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience.

- almost all the staff are rude, stuck up, lazy, and disrespectful at this location. One lady saw I wanted help with perfumes cause I wanted to smell one and she looked at me, laughed then walked away. She ignored me when I said excuse me trying to get her attention again. Come to find out she was the manager. lol, great employees you have working here, no wonder everything is off and all over the place cause that lady is in charge.
- prices are normal for the area.
- has a decent amount of parking at this location.
- place is not organized and seems to struggle with deals when they advertise them. I got a few items on sale but then was told they were all out of them when they were ringing up a different price but they were the same items being called out for the sale.. How are you out of them if I grabbed them and you were ringing them up? Makes no sense. Employees seem to need more training maybe?
- overall I come here frequently and never have a good experience.

Brown women ...yes brown women if you need attention , care and concern when choosing your make up products of choice please go to ULTA in Springfield and ask for Taylor. After a horrible experience with Sephora, Taylor made my day and took her time with me to hear my concerns as she worked to give me the service I needed. Thank you again Taylor!!!!!

Stopped by this Ulta store to get some dermalogica products and found what I was looking for. The unfortunate part was that none of the staff spoke at all. When my wife, child and I walked in, there was a staff member near the door, and she did not even welcome us to the store. She looked at us but didn't speak surprisingly. Then when we walked around the store to find the things we wanted to buy, and we walked by multiple staff members and no communication from them at all. We were surprised because Ulta is known for greeting their customers. Just disappointing to not be welcomed into the store.

I always feel overwhelmed by the variety of beauty products available. Taylor helped me select a new primer and concealer and then located other items that I needed. She saved me time and I left satisfied instead of frustrated. Thanks!

Ulta is my go-to for all things beauty! They have an amazing variety of products — from high-end brands to affordable drugstore options — covering makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrances. I love that they also offer beauty services like haircuts, facials, and brow shaping, making it a true one-stop shop.
Overall, a fantastic shopping experience for beauty lovers!
