I made a Passport appointment and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes to include a picture and they do money orders on site. Everyone was very helpful and not on their phones or gossiping while customers were waiting. SORAYDA helped me with my passport and was an absolute all star. SORAYDA was knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process.

The black woman with braids across her head was extremely rude during my visit. I was carrying an infant and was the only person in line, yet I was told I could not use the long table inside to complete a form and had to go outside instead. When I returned, she rudely insisted that I approach the counter from the far side of the long table, rather than going directly to the open counter—despite the fact that no one else was in line.
Rather than facilitating a smooth and supportive experience for customers, she appeared to go out of her way to make the process unnecessarily difficult, exercising her limited authority in an unhelpful and inflexible manner.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit at this office. I arrived at 9 AM with my two daughters for a passport application, and was turned away because I didn't have tickets. She told me to go to the nearest location instead.
Surprisingly, they did mention that they are accepting walk-in passport applications from 9am-10am. They never communicated that they are only taking in 4 applicants.
This lack of communication is unacceptable. Proper guidance should be provided to avoid wasting time for families. Very frustrating experience!

I went to this post office because for some reason the Lorton USPS was closed but it was supposed to be open. But went to get a PO Box for my new business and I told the counter lady what it was for and she was very helpful with the process and for some reason the PO Box was less money at this Post Office. So in the end it worked out really well.

Went to get passports here for the kids. Got the picture taken too. Appointment set up was easy. The worker was very nice and made the process super smooth. Everything was professional and handled well.
Also, I drop off packages here and the workers always say hi when I approach the counter. Good post office to go to!

Came to get a passport. Carrying two kids. I was only 10 minutes late. Told me reschedule without even looking at me. Just rude.

Every post office is overworked and understaffed, this one is no exception. I came to send out a standard passport application at my appointment time and Surbaya helped me. She was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable about how to work through the application. She knows what she's doing and it shows. And she was patient with me and all the other customers there with us who were also submitting passport applications. Thanks Surbaya for making my visit quick and painless.

If you’re hoping to do a walk in passport appointment, don’t. They might say its from 9am to 10am, but they book appointments during that time and will do the appointments before you. Horrific, the people running this location should be embarrassed.
