Extremely Disappointed – Misled and Ignored
I had an absolute blast working with the store manager, Rangel, at the AT&T store here in Stafford. He was charismatic, knowledgeable, and said all the right things—so much so that I signed on the dotted line with confidence. As part of the promotion, I was promised two $300 prepaid Visa gift cards, which sealed the deal for me.
Fast forward a month later—nothing. No gift cards, no communication, nothing in the system according to the AT&T phone rep. So I called the Stafford store—the number I was told to use—and spoke with Ali, who couldn’t have been more unhelpful. She said Rangel wasn’t in and had no idea when he worked next, couldn’t provide a phone number or email to reach him, and basically told me to just keep calling back indefinitely until I managed to catch him.
This is incredibly frustrating and not at all what I expect from a major company like AT&T. I feel completely misled, and frankly, I regret leaving my old provider. The experience after signing up has been the total opposite of what was promised. AT&T needs to make this right—starting by honoring the promotion that was offered and providing actual customer support when things go wrong.
Until then, I will be sharing this experience anywhere I can to make sure others think twice before trusting what’s promised in this store.

Horrible service. iPhone has been on SOS mode for the last week and zero help from AT&T. I’m expecting either a credit on my account, or my phone bill to be lowered next month due to the fact I couldn’t even call 911 if I needed to for a whole week.

I had the worst experience of my life at this brunch. They promise one thing, but at the end of the month, you receive a bill with unexpected charges. When you inquire about it, they say they had already mentioned it. For instance, I added two more members who were enrolled at $25 each, but when the month ended, each SIM was charged more than $70. When I asked for clarification, they said this applied to new customers. I was shocked and asked why this wasn’t mentioned earlier. They claimed they did, so I told them to cancel all our SIMs. I will never recommend AT&F to anyone.

This is the worst service I have ever had with the phone company. The manager wanted to buy my phone at Christmas time. It is an iPhone 15 Pro titanium. He told me it was only worth $201 to trade in but he would give me 300 for it his girlfriend had her own business and she wanted the phone Needless to say I did not sell him the phone. He was unable to get me back in an Eye Dr android phone, which was a really dumb idea of my own so he sent me up to the store called you break it. We fix it that man there was able to do it within five minutes transfer my notifications numbers and everything he told me do not sell that phone for that amount of money he’s trying to get over on you make a long story short I wanted to trade back. He was very sweet but nasty. If you will I took my phone there to trade it back in when I could’ve done it over the telephone, which I wish I would have done now. He kept my phone there for about 20 minutes sliding things pushing things sliding more things going into his phone to look at what he ruined my iPhone and I know he did this on purpose. Not sure of his name at this time but will keep you posted. I am very very upset. !!!!!!!

I need someone from AT&T to personally contact me, PLEASE.
I am very angry and dissapointed with a mistake that a worker made. I came into the store sometime in August to ask for a quote for a phone line, just one phone line since my father had taken me off his. I give my social and she makes an account, which I find out later because I never wanted an account but she said that was the only way to get a quote. So after she says I need your social to give you a quote, she tells me the price to which I tell her it is too much and then I leave.
I leave but on September 11th, I get an email about how my account was made, and I already have a bill for an IPhone 14 that I never even had. Now they expected me to pay for a wireless which they canceled and then a phone line which they have not canceled.
I go into the store to which they said they would take care of it. They never did so I went in again later that week. They gave me a phone number to call the fraud department and it took forever to get and give the documents to them.
Finally, I get word from the fraud department and they save I'm responsible to pay 350 dollars for an account I never asked to be opened and a phone I NEVER RECIEVED.
My guess is that someone or even the woman who opened my account for a quote never closed out my account and rang someone else's phone under my account. Or she was out to use my social to have an account.
I CALLED THAT STORE BUT NOW THEY ACT LIKE THEY DO NOT KNOW ITS ME CALLING.
I NEED SOMEONE FROM AT&T TO PERSONALLY REACG OUT TO ME BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY BEYOND RIDICULOUS NOW.

Really positive experience at this store yesterday (11/10/24). AT&T had a major internal problem that prevented registering new phones. AT&T customer service said they were inundated with calls from all over the US, but took no action themselves, leaving it up to each retailer to try to solve it. The customer service rep we dealt with was wonderful. She was constantly positive, honest when she was stumped, and never gave up. She was on the phone with AT&T for almost 4 hours and eventually worked through the issue. Not really happy with AT&T, but this AT&T store and specifically the rep we worked with was great, she made what should have been a very frustrating experience positive...long but positive.

I’m very frustrated and disappointed with the misleading information I have experienced with AT&T in Stafford. We were assured that we would receive a visa rewards card to cover our first bill (or at least some of it) However, after some phone calls, we were informed that this was not the case and they will send us the email to claim our rewards. Eventually, we received an email stating we would receive another email to claim our rewards (at this point we’re going in circles)
Nearly $800 for our 1st phone bill and 3 to 4 weeks later, we still have not received that email. Today, I called the reward center for an update, and they finally processed our rewards, only to inform us it will take another 3 to 4 weeks to receive the Visa gift cards. This situation is absolutely unacceptable and dishonest.
It is disheartening to see how poorly AT&T honors its commitments, especially towards military veterans and healthcare workers, as it claims to do.

The service was great. The staff who helped me were very helpful and friendly. I was disappointed that while I saw the phone I wanted on display, it wasn't available for purchase in store. They also didn't have the screen protector for my phone model so I will have to purchase elsewhere.

Isaiah Benton at the Stafford Virginia office was an exceptional representative that helped us with all of our needs.He was efficient and stayed there beyond the time of closing to ensure that our new phones were updated and ready to go. He was not pushy and he helped my wife make a decision to get a new phone and I as her husband had tried to do that for some time.It is because of his customer service and knowledge that we decided to upgrade 2 phones and get an additional phone for our son.
