Disappointed to see they charge $55 for a private transfer regardless of LEO or Vet status. I asked why so much? He replied it's the owners discretion. Too bad the state doesn't set a flat fee. Will be going to JC Firearms.

HORRID experience. I highly recommend you stay away especially if you want your firearms shipped safely. My husband and I took his guns to SSG Tactical to be shipped as he's on military orders out of state. They failed to package the guns correctly, and all of the guns were destroyed. There was a giant hole in the box, which had later been retaped by USPS -- it's miraculous my husband's handgun was still in the box after all of that. When calling SSG Tactical to ask how they'll make it right, they deflected their lack of customer service and respect and blamed it on the post office for their handling of the box -- mind you, the firearms didn't have any bubble wrap on them and the "manager" claimed he had boxed the firearms in a larger box, with a handgun case boxed in a separate box, taped to the larger box. This was a total lie as the guns came in 1 box -- with the handgun case in the large box, and the postal sticker was on that 1 box. ALSO, the tracking information consisted of ONE tracking number. You simply cannot have 2 boxes with the same tracking number, so -- to my point earlier -- the manager is telling a lie somewhere in this as the story does not line up. We also offered to provide them with bubble wrap to which they denied. Let me not forget that there wasn't a signature required to obtain the guns for delivery. Talk about high potential for the guns to get in the wrong hands. On top of all of this, my husband's guns are inherited from his father and two grandfathers, one of which is not here with us today. What a disgrace of a business. This is unforgivable and the least they can do is refund us the $260 they charged to ship the guns, especially considering the damage THEY caused will far surpass that $260.

Marquett was an excellent salesman who helped me through my first purchase at SSG. He was honest, helpful, efficient, and explained things very well.The environment was great as it was filled with friendly people.Great experience!

I was nervous buying my first weapon however Marquette was so informative and pleasant with everything from A to Z. I do believe he was an expert. I will say I was surprised on how much these guns actually cost lol So glad I came here.

Needed an accessory, as soon as I walked in two employees asked if I needed help and after I explained what I needed one of them showed me everything and I got exactly what I asked for. In and out in less than five minutes and very friendly workers.

The BEST! Absolutely thrilled! As a first-time gun buyer, I entered with some hesitation. The service and education I encountered were truly exceptional. I feel incredibly fortunate and can't fathom any negative feedback they might receive on Yelp. Based on my experience tonight, this guys were passionate and wasn't a typical push a purchase down your throat. I hate to say it, but my last time in there will be my last time. It's clear to me they know everything about selling guns, and nothing about maintaining them. I went in there most recently to ask about solutions for dealing with plastic fouling inside a 12 gauge barrel. The response I got: "I've never had a problem with that." I'm just kind of done with these guys, they never have any of the products I'm looking for to maintain a gun, and they make you feel stupid every time you're in there.

this place is sorry as the customer service. I was in the store to look and speaking to a family member about a product and mentioning how someone's experience was difficult when maneuvering or changing the weapon. I was immediately asked the say my statement again and when I did? the gentlemen decided to tell me to "stop talking." like what kind of customer service is this? I thought I was inside of grand theft auto "ammunation" gunshop. however if you want my honest review? the firearms appear used and worn down. the suppressors are high end and are not worth the hassle let alone the cost. the had a Walter handgun with rust on it. rust. this is what your money for in a time where a firearm may be needed. I would not trust the business or the dealings with this low rent hell. it looks shady when you walk in with the employees staring you down as if you're about to cause trouble. I'm a war veteran and I don't give off that image or demeanor. so if you shop here? just know your welcoming experience will seem like if you are black? you will be looked at differently. don't believe me? just walk in and find out.
