Sharing a positive experience to help counter some of the bad ones specifically based on the interaction with the clerk. The lady that helped me was very kind and respectful, and was kind to my daughters. When I commented on the cleanliness of the store, it was apparent she had been trying to clean, restock, and organize the front of store to make it a more welcoming place for folks. This was a better experience than other USPS locations I have visited in the past.

Rude and lazy staff. Especially the older black woman. It's obvious why this post office is rated so low. If you're a business owner bringing multiple packages, avoid this place.

Rude and Disrespectful Service - Avoid This Post Office!
I’ve never encountered such rude and disrespectful employees as I did at the USPS post office in Stafford. I was there well before 5:00 PM, filling out a form in the lobby, they knew I was shipping to an FPO address. But when I approached the door just before 5, the employees were shockingly rude. Despite being there on time and packing a box, they refused to assist me. I said fine and let that go. I asked for an extra customs form and the lady wouldn’t hand me the form I needed, and aggressively told me they were closed. Their attitude was not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful.
It’s disappointing, especially as a military member, to be treated this way by government employees who are supposed to be there to help. I will never step foot in this post office again. From now on, I’ll gladly pay more to use FedEx or UPS, where I know I’ll be treated with basic respect. The staff here seriously needs to adjust their attitude and learn what customer service is supposed to be about. They need to go back learn how to talk to human beings and humble themselves. Frankly, they should all be fired!

Always making mistakes, it’s like they need their eyes checked or learn how to read addresses

I submitted a hold on my mail for 2 weeks and then a change of address. I received confirmation of everything via email, but unfortunately I stopped receiving my mail. I even got a form in my mailbox asking me who should get mail but still didn't get mail. I went into this post office and the lady that helped me was flat out rude. First told me there wasn't a hold so I had to fill out another form. I then asked where was my mail - I get emails showing what is supposed to arrive. She told me that it takes several days before that mail comes - not true. While I was waiting another guy came in for the same thing - asking where his mail was. They tried to give him the same lip service, but he said he had been waiting for 3 weeks, they went in the back to look and came back with a rack of mail. I was also missing a package, and they tracked it (the only item that had a tracking number) and unfortunately it had been forwarded to another address - my ex's (who submitted a forwarding address for just his mail). They said they couldn't tell me where the package was forwarded, but I could see online. They really couldn't tell me where my mail has been going, because it wasn't at the post office - just that it had been forwarded. Instead they wanted to focus on the fact that I hadn't told them that one of my dependents had a different last name - when I had told them but who cares. So my mail forwarded, I don't have a hold, but my new mailing address isn't yet active? Oh and don't forget to bring in that paperwork to confirm my mailing change - which is part of the mail that was forwarded to god knows where. Yeah let me get right on that.

I sent some clients' passports to another State since last year, and to date they have not arrived, it is terrible, especially when it comes to extremely important documents.

Went in for help with a passport application and the staff was incredibly helpful. They let me know the photos I had from cvs were no good and took new pictures for me and helped me fill out the form even though I didn’t have an appointment. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and the staff has always been amazing.

This is the worst Post Office...I tried to get my passport status changed, and they separated my application from the profrated lines and stapled my passport picture on it, and came back and told me that they didn't know how to process it. They are the worst.

I am New to the area for about a month and since the very first day the staff here were helpful and polite. The usps website would not allow me to process an address change or access my account so I went to this location to get my keys and submit an address change in person. The clerks are extremely helpful and polite every time I come to collect mail or update my information. I’m pleased every time I stop in.

The old white women was a HAG!!! She was rude, demeaning, zero customer service skills she needs people skills training or to be fired. At first she didn't even wanna take me since walk ins are only from "9-9:45" even after another staff member assured her I could be seen due to an open appointment slot I could tell she didn't wanna help me. She made me feel down right dumb while filing out my passport form and took my picture when I wasn't even ready. She had the ugliest attitude the entire time she "helped" me. I had never been treated so poor at an establishment before. Now Mrs. Newman was god sent. Thank you so much for allowing me to bring a new picture at a later time and for being so kind I really do appreciate it so much. The other two gentleman were also very kind unfortunately I did not get their names but they were super lovely. In short if you go to this postal office avoid the old white lady at all cost.

This post office continually disappoints. I’ve now had multiple occasions where I’ve sent packages from here and they hold onto the piece of mail for days before it makes any progress. This is especially frustrating when I pay extra for Priority Mail and it ends up taking as much time to reach the destination as their cheapest postage service. There are consistently long lines at this post office. Use a different location if you’re mailing an item if you want it to reach its destination on a reasonable timeline.

They always mix up my mail with somebody else's. That is dangerous. What if I had new shoes or something valuable.

I regret having to come here every single time. The staff is overwhelmed and usually rude.

Never answered the phone. Never updated our keys when we bought our house even though we paid the 20$ and now they have a package of mine (hundreds of dollars) that just simply won't be delivered and has vanished off the face of the earth because I wasn't home one time to receive it. No 2nd attempt option. Nothing. Do better.
