“My wife and I were blessed when our paths crossed with Danny Morris, owner of Trailside Auto Service.
Driving through Stanardsville, VA from out-of-state, our RV needed emergency brake repairs. We were just a short distance from Trailside Auto.
When I approached Danny, a very friendly guy, he said his schedule was too busy to help me, but he did take a few minutes and confirmed the problem with the brakes. Then he spent several more minutes calling other shops that he trusted, but all were too busy to do the work. He gave it a couple more minutes thought, and then very kindly offered to do our repairs.
Although my background in auto mechanics is limited, when he described how he would do the repairs, it was clear to me that he would do a very good job. He is competent and caring. He located the parts and completed the work by the following afternoon.
I’d trust Danny with all my auto service needs if I lived in the area, and I can recommend him to others with no hesitation.”

“Traveling from New Hampshire, the guys at Sneads bailed us out BIG TIME, saved our vacation. Had brake problems on Skyline drive called over and they said they would see what they could do. They not only fixed the brakes they found a bad wheel hub and yes they showed me the defective hub before they pulled the tire not an upsell in a time of desperation. Highly recommend not many shops would take care of someone like that on a Friday afternoon.”
