I was in there the other day and this place is gross and so messed up. Every Dollar General I have ever been in has been the same way in so many States. I guess the owners of this company doesn't care. This was not only a big sty and a mess but I saw two left other food containers like someone's lunch in the aisles that was just sitting there. I'm surprised they don't have rats. And this is a small town so I'm sure many people shop here but only cause they have too. Dollar General needs to clean up their stores and hire people who care. I would give 0 stars if I could, I did buy things but only cause I Was in need but will never stop there again or any dollar general unless I am in need. GROSS

The gentleman cashier was on the phone with his back turned toward me no no cashier light was on which register was open it wasn't friendly at all I looked back in the door immediately got back on the phone and stayed on till next customer came to the counter I do business with Dollar general in Ashland and Montpelier with no troubles at all the cashiers are alert and personnel always willing to help

Purchased anXbox gift card for a grandchild. Would it work. Called Xbox and after an eternity they tell me that it wasn’t activated at DG. Call DG am told there are no returns on Gift cards and I will have to talk to manager. Waited two days to talk with manager(arrogant manager I might add). Was told that there was a number they could call but there wasn’t anything they could do. Snatched the card and receipt out of his hand and walked out. Accused them of theft and fraud.
