Very friendly and personable bank, it's always a pleasure when staff greet with a smile especially these days when most places you go you see downhearted people that don't like their jobs.

I've been banking at Pioneer Bank since 1977. All through my life they have been my bank for personal, business and real estate loans. They continue to bank the old fashioned way in this modern world. If you are looking for a more personal banking experience I recommend Pioneer Bank.

Pioneer Bank took over our small Nicollet Co bank. It seems the transition to Pioneer was bumpy since they were swamped self admittingly by other customers. When I explained I wanted to get some business done by opening a new account the bank manager said she just couldn't get to our request since would be going on vacation on Saturday. SAD

I do not recommend this bank for Banking or car loans branch in Charlottesville won't make a payment for your car in the branch never in my life have I heard of such I pulled my car loan from them and my bank account back when I had an account here They used to close at noon on FRIDAY busiest day of the week for a bank major inconvenience! I will soon be pulling my wife's car loan from these idiots too. Again, do not recommend

This bank does not understand federal regulations. They erroneously returned my deceased father's social security check due to their inability to read, causing financial difficulties that are unnecessary and serve to make this period of mourning more stressful. We had to go to Harrisonburg, to the social security office to fix it, because they would do nothing to help. As soon as all my deceased father's accounts are in order we will be leaving, despite having been customers for over 30 years.
