Two employees were standing in front putting stuff away… one self checkout lane was open… fifteen people in line. To purchase a roll of tape, envelopes, and a bottle of soda… 15 minutes. One person cut off the entire line when they opened a register, and the employees allowed it willingly saying she “made it first.” Of course. She ran. Elderly people can’t run. We will never be back.

This store has been in the area a long time. The inventory includes crafts, home decorations, a limited electronics section, toiletry and first aid items and cleaning supplies. There are occasional finds in the frozen section. It might be "The 1.25" store now but you can still find great deals (especially bleach, tissues and plastic storage containers).

2024 I was met with racism here. The assistant manager walked up to my boys and told them the cameras are always watching. I ask her what the problem was remind you I heard as soon as I walked in she said security scan all aisles. I immediately said it better not be because we're superior. Found out it was she stood in my face and told me a bold face lie about a customer telling her they saw them stealing. I ask why protocol wasn't followed and may I see the cameras? Disciplining mines would be no problem because I believe in disciplining my children. Somehow she couldn't show me but stood in my face and said maybe they put it back. Then said I'm not racist I have friends who look like you. I ask look like what mam? Please say it. Let's just say I left things right there and left. I will not ever go there again. I will be looking into this more as well because WHITE people going to stop seeing my color as if YOUR HISTORY isn't base on STEALING.

Good stuff terrible employees. When I went to the checkout line I put my stuff on the belt the cashier said my total but there was still a person in front of me I wasn't gonna push them outta the way when there loading there cart. Then the cashier says my total again with more attitude. I put my card in I wanted cash back but I accidentally clicked on wrong total. So it said 'transaction canceled' like it's supposed to. And after that it said waiting for employee. She then tells me to try again the second I'm about to put my card In she puts her hand OVER the card reader and says wait a minute. She didn't have a nice attitude. Then a diffrent time I went to buy cards and this employee got up from the front of the store and got closer like wtf I'm not gonna steal a 50cent card. The employees are rude snobby old ladies

I will NEVER shop here again. After using self checkout purchasing about 12 items or so. I purchased a Pepsi as one of those items. After checking out the lady came out the office by the front exit door and asked to see my receipt before my family and I walked out. I asked her “do I look like I steal ma’am?” Her response was it’s their company policy and she said “oh you were honest”??
Seriously, who wants to get held up in front of a bunch of people in a dollar tree to get accused of stealing !! That is such a shame and poor practice on the staffs behalf. Since you were sitting in the office by the self check out I’m assuming watching the cameras and you thought I didn’t scan my drink. You could’ve very easily checked the computer system yourself to verify. Instead of holding up a family. This is such Bull that she says it’s their company policy. I legit watched a handful of people checkout in front of me that were not stopped nor questioned at all.I guess somewhere on that binding companies policy it states to stop anyone who is not Caucasian ???? It has to be and this is such a shame that these old ladies that work here profile and discriminate against certain denominations or races. Please avoid going here if you don’t want to be harassed by staff following you all around the store and aggressively approaching you for a receipt on the way out only to say “oh thanks for being honest” “ it’s our company policy” Stay away and take your business elsewhere where it’s appreciated.

I can buy most of my crafting supplies which keeps my cost low which I can pass on to my customers.
They also have nice items for the home that I'm not ashamed to say where I bought them when entertaining my guests. I recently bought some platters and serving trays and received many compliments on them. Why pay more when you can get these for $1.25?
Plus, there is an employee at the location I visit who is so friendly, helpful and goes out of her way to make sure your breakable items are securely wrapped.
I enjoy shopping here and recommend it.

I'm from Raleigh North Carolina travel all up and down to east coast and several states to the west of it and this was one of the cleanest nicest Dollar trees I've been to maybe because it's kind of up in the mountains they don't get hit with thousands of people or they just got some hard-working people that do their job and stock the shelves and keep it nice and neat I saw three employees there two of more stocking and one was at the register the store was very nice and neat I didn't see my water moisture beads to absorb water like in closets and stuff but I did get my wiper washer fluid instead of paying $5 plus at stores for Blue water they have it for a dollar 25 love getting in wiper washer fluid from Dollar tree and Dollar general even though it's a $1.25 they should call the name of the store $1 plus is what they should call it but anyways I complimented them and told him it was one of the nicest neatest Dollar trees I've been in in a long long time

Old Wrinkled Racist Cashier:If I could give this Dollar Tree one star, I would. The cashier, a little old wrinkly bag of racism accused me of stealing.I am visiting from Ontario, and I forgot some things at home. I went to the store and tried to pay for three items at the self checkout. I did not bring cash, so I was using my debit visa, and it didn't work. I retried it a few times and another debit card. I realized it was futile, so I did not bother to take them to the cashier to try again. I placed them down, waved to the cashier so that she could take notice, and then I left.As I sat outside in the parking lot, preparing to reverse, I saw the same cashier making note of my license plate!I'm a Black woman, over 600 km from home in small town USA --so I immediately saw where it was going.Long story short, I went back into the store, and the old Racist told me that I stole some items, and she refused to check the self checkout to see that everything was there.Eventually, the manager came and sorted it out. I mean, what should I expect this far south of Canda?Mind you, the old hag said I should go back there!
