Absolutely loved this hotel!
Found this hotel in Lonely Planet. Stayed one night in room 26. The room was quaint, full of character and clean throughout. We slept really well here in the comfortable 4 post bed.
Breakfast was also a highlight - I recommend the waffles. It’s a very substantial portion and tasted fantastic with locally sourced ingredients. The service throughout was professional and we felt well looked after.
Our hosts were full of useful recommendations of activities within the local area. A brilliant stay all round!

Historic accommodations that make you feel at home. Rooms are well furnished with many period pieces of furniture. The owner and staff are super friendly and willing to go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is made to order from a unique and very tasty menu. Located a block from the main street of town, everything is within a short walk. You will not regret staying here!

After trying too many hotels in the area this one is my favorite. The breakfast is delicious, the people are lovely, and the rooms are really cool. I only wish they had proper blackout curtains but otherwise everything is awesome.

Great price point and one of my favorite hotel breakfasts. We've stayed several times and will keep returning for the location and included parking and breakfast.

We adore Staunton and Frederick House is probably our favorite place to stay anywhere we travel! Beautiful rooms in carefully renovated houses and delicious breakfast offerings. You cannot go wrong staying at Frederick House!

Quiet..peaceful stay....Absolutely delightful Victorian style room in the Patrick house with super high ceilings, ample natural light, warm and cozy room. We could park our car right outside our room which was so convenient. It is right next to a beautiful Catholic Church from the same era. Staff was so helpful. Got wine glasses from reception area. Breakfast was supreme. Had the egg sausage casserole with fruit and bread. Will be back whenever staying in Staunton. So much to walk to from Frederick House(s).

Quiet, clean rooms (Bowery). Everyone was very friendly. I had the ground floor area, which is one of the pet friendly rooms. It's very quiet. Walkable to many interesting areas, very easy parking. Good shower, comfy bed, big space. Was very warm during an extremely cold weekend. Breakfast was great. Do not miss the waffles unless you have uncontrolled diabetes

Stayed NY Eve. Booked with friends earlier in October.
Our room was the Womack. It had its own entrance, separate sitting room, which was nice for our cocktail hour with friends prior to dinner. Our room was well appointed, clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Ross (one of the owners) checked us in and made and served our delicious breakfast. He was friendly and helpful with info on the surrounding area.
We would stay there again!

I just wanted to say that I have had my best bed and breakfast experience. The host was very nice, and they also run a cat shelter place 🥹🥹 the breakfast featured the freshest fruits I have ever had. The home made sweet breads were also really moist and delicious.

We stayed at the Frederick House a few nights in December and loved it. We stayed in the Patrick House. The location is perfect for easily walking downtown. We did not move our car during our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. While the style and décor stayed true to the age of the house, all modern amenities are available. Ross was a pleasant host and available to answer questions about the area. Breakfast was yummy and well prepared. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This is a top scorer from my wife and I. We were made very welcome despite our late booking. The hotel rooms were professionally presented, clean, quirky and have class.
Russ was a fabulous host showing a genuine interest in all customers. The breakfast was probably the best presented and tastiest we had anywhere in our visit to the United States. We were given a bit of extra time before checking out too, which gave me an opportunity to have a good look around Old Staunton. Fabulous.
