Love being greeted at the door by Aaron with we close in 5 minutes, then when I ask a question about the newer Xbox consoles and if I can see one (I’m going to purchase just want to read the box) he said again we close in 5 min. As someone who manages a retail store, this is the opposite of who we’d hire. Would’ve bought it too if he didn’t say that.

The employees are always very friendly and informative the atmosphere is very chill usually not very busy at all only has a lot of the newer gen stuff which is cool for a younger crowd I do miss the PS2 games and PS3 games and wish they had a little more nostalgic stuff like they used to a few years ago old Nickelodeon stuff old horror movie stuff but overall super good place to get the most relevant and brand new things

I have pre-ordered games from here for years and for a while now they never get your preorder in stock. You can order a special edition a year in advance and they do not get them. This completly defeats the purpose of pre-ordering a game.

Scammers. This store charged me for a warranty WITHOUT asking if I wanted one and then not giving me the sticker for the game. Check your receipts!!! I will NEVER shop here again. Go to waynesboro store they’re great.

Worse experience I’ve ever had in a GameStop Winn woudlnt help look anything up online said the “WiFi bad” said there’s nothing he could do to help us resolve a simple problem went to Waynesboro GameStop got the help I needed with no problems or issues never will I be back to the Staunton GameStop

The store itself is terrible if your a collector they swap cases and take out manuals randomly when they were in the case before hand. I've gotten cases that were cracked and games with scratches on them. Brand new games unsealed without the manual. The employees are probably the only good thing about this location they are always so nice and kind about everything and are always there to help. It's just the quality of the stuff and how they sell there games. I suggest downloading whatnot and buying games from there. there really cheap and show/tell you the condition what it comes with and all unlike this location or gamestops in general there all just about the same

I attempted to speak with a manager about not receiving my physical copy of their gaming magazine, but they had little to do with those type issues. He politely directed me to call customer support. I waited for an hour to call customer support only to be hung up on my the representative! I was polite in my opening, but after five seconds the line clicked off. Unacceptable. What is a customer suppose to do at this point? Terrible online customer service.

I was having issues with my sons Xbox controller, I had to go back a few times. It wasn’t the employees fault. Every employee I dealt with was attentive, respectful, and wanted to make it right. I always get kind of paranoid when I have to go back to the same store multiple times with the same issue, that I’m bothering them. They didn’t make me feel like that in the slightest. They fixed my issue, went above and beyond. I even purchased my sons Xbox series S at GameStop, it has been working flawlessly. It’s refurbished but it has been working like it’s brand new. I love this GameStop, the employees are amazing.

Was about to drive half an hour to pick up a console but the neckbeard on the phone was so rude and unhelpful that I took my business elsewhere. Does GameStop go out of their way to hire miserable incels?

The only employee there was nice, but smelled so bad my family and I had to leave as fast as possible he was making most of the store smell bad.please management bring attention to employee hygiene and correct this used to love coming in here but now I don't think we will be back
