Too high. Especially when items are given to goodwill for free.the higher end items go on shop goodwill.com for a higher profit.seems really dishonest to jack the prices up on donated items

Review for Goodwill Store
I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local Goodwill store in Staunton, VA and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional customer service provided by Zach H. As a twenty-five year veteran in customer service roles spanning from restaurants to financial services, I couldn’t help but listen with intrigue as he interacted with each customer he came in contact with. The caliber of his interpersonal skills matched with his authentic positive attitude, infectious energy and professionalism is a rare combination that is of utmost value.
Thank you, Zach, for making my visit memorable and for setting such a high standard in customer service!

This location sucks. Especially when giving donations, the older lady with long blonde hair doesn’t bother to help with a FULL car of donations. Acts like it’s a problem when it’s your job.

Great store. It looks more spacious after the remodeling.

They deserve zero stars. After attempting to make a purchase was told by cashier she needed to check each individual item because I might have added something else to it. That is more or less accusing which shouldn't ever be done to a PAYING customer. The assistant store manager defended her horrible customer service and was just as rude. Very disappointing. I won't be back and will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

Prices are way too high. Goodwill has lost the plot. Local thrift stores don’t disappoint. I’ll be donating and purchasing from them primarily now

I always like to go to goodwill. Didn't really find much this trip, but over all it was a pretty good store.

The clothing & shoes are heavily worn, stained etc with absurd pricing. SHEIN items were more expensive than they are brand new on the site! Boots with cracks, ripped lining and worn down heels were $9.99. We go to goodwills often and won’t return to this one. I also donate often with the idea that my clothing will go at an affordable price to someone on a lower income. I think I might stop donating if Goodwills keep hiking their prices up. Something doesn’t seem right about that!

I used to love shopping here, butI can no longer afford to because, $2.99-$3.99 for used towels? $1.99 for a single jar? The same price as Walmart for new carpet? A dress that was missing the belt, and they wouldn't deduct $1.00 because it violates store policy. Clearly they've lost site of what's important here. To provide a service for the lower income community...maybe? It's not evident.

I love shopping at thrifts, they’re cool with lots of old memories. But I do not enjoy shopping to the sound of the boss yelling at an employee. Me and several others had turned to the sound. Honestly, Goodwill should treat their employees better, not the only store I’ve seen this happen in.

I will not be shopping at any goodwill of the valley location any more due to the absolute insanity of the pricing. How grifty can this organization be when pricing FREE DONATED ITEMS. You are hurting the community, not helping! Everyone from the pricers (who have pricing quotas by management) all the way up to Richmond Vincent Junior (president of goodwill of the valley) should be absolutely disgusting and ashamed by this behavior. Support your local Thrift stores that actually help the community, not a greedy corporate one who only wants to line their own pockets!
