Angels... Dickie and his team took care of us so well. We were day 1 in an 11 day road trip from Boston to Key West and back. In Staunton, this Goodyear service store in downtown took us in at 7am on a Monday, replaced our radiator, and had us back on the road by 11am. All with a friendly, helpful, caring demeanor. Clone Dickie, and put him and his team in every service venue !

Dropped my car off at 7am to have it inspected. They told me three hours later it would be done. I came back at 530 PM and the inspection was still not done. Everybody was just sitting around not doing much of anything. I will never go back!! Terrible service

No woman should use this business. I have used hem for years and trusted them. After a change in the manager I was quoted $1700 for a brake job and alignment even though they had supposedly aligned it a few months (and less than 5000 miles) earlier. After refusing and demanding an itemized estimate it went down to $1000. A few weeks later(and before I found a new shop) my water pump went out. Had it towed back to Jenkins and two days later they quoted me over $1000. I figured it was the water pump so I had already looked into it and found out it should cost around $500. When I told the manager this he promised to match that price. $750 later I got my car back. They have made a lot of money off me honestly over the years (since 2010) but they are determined to take advantage of me sinceI am a woman and I will never go there again. I know other women who have had the same problem with them.

Do not trust this shop! Repeated bad experiences have proven that they will try to pad their invoices in whatever way they can. Getting my truck's VA inspection with them was a series of deceptions. First quote, approx $950 for new brakes and new rotors and drums. I paid a visit, could easily see there was nothing wrong with the drums, and $400 was taken off the quote. Mechanic in the shop told me the drums were fine and he didn't know why they'd been quoted. Shop manager told me the mechanic had recommended them. I believed the mechanic. Rest of repairs were approved, and in the 10 minutes it took to walk home, I got another call telling me the rear wheel brake cylinders had 'exploded' in the brake replacement process??? No choice now but to approve that addition to the bill. Picked up the truck late in the day, soon realized the brakes had not been readjusted after the work. Took it back first thing next morning. Shortly again received a call, now telling me that the rear drums would have to be replaced because they couldn't reassemble the wheels after adjusting the brakes???? Made no sense, I said NO. Was told they'd see what they could do. Got a call a bit later that the truck was ready and they'd 'figured out' the issue with the rear wheels. I have reported them to the Goodyear Customer Service center, where I was told it only takes a couple of reports like this to cause them to completely lose the Goodyear franchise--brand name and all products. If you or someone you know has had similar problems with Jenkins Automotive in downtown Staunton, VA, please take time to report them. It is a disservice to Goodyear and a disservice to our little town to have a shop like this that can't be routinely trusted.
