I can only assume that the employees hate their manager because the attitude of most of the employees is nasty! They act like they hate their jobs, hate the boss, hate the customers.

I specifically go to Staunton Kroger for the boars head meat in the deli but I can only shop on Sunday afternoon. Website lists deli hours until 7 pm but when I got there at 3:45 pm was informed deli was closed. WTF ?? Update the website if you're gonna close earlier than posted hours !! Also do not like the organization of the store and narrow aisles. Looks like Food Lion will get my grocery $$ in future !!

Danny has exceptional customer service skills. I was accidentally charged too much and Danny refunded me without me having to ask when I went back with my receipt and asked to return some things (I thought I had overspent).

Regarding the pharmacy: absolutely terrible experience every time I need medications filled. When I call in prescriptions, they give day and time it'll be ready and it almost never is ready. When I try to call them to speak to pharmacist, it rings nonstop and I can't ever talk to anyone. The line is usually half way down the freezer aisle and they have such limited hours as it is. Do not consider using this pharmacy.

I had no issues with this store whatsoever. I went in, they had everything I was looking for, and the checkout process was smooth. They had a good selection. Some of the items I was looking for in the produce section were low in stock but that's okay. I was still able to get what I needed. The parking lot is actually pretty easy to navigate as well. I found that the lot directly in front of the store looked packed so I parked off to the side and I was still very close and I was able to park in some shade. The employees were friendly.

Pharmacy is seriously short staffed and take days. Many days to fill prescriptions that era needed same day. Antibiotics for infection.... you wait 4-5 days and you could be in the hospital. Never will use them again.

The. Worst. And not even the first, second, or third time. Because of this I try to get pick up in Harrisonburg now and it has NEVER been even close to this bad. I know my order is ready, because I have been charged, but I am still waiting a half an hour later. The absolute worst and I will never shop here again. Horrible. By the way, my pick up time was supposed to be between 5-6 pm. It's 6:15. The worst. Edited to add that a young lady has now come out twice to encourage people to pick up their groceries tomorrow. I asked if I could just come in and get mine because I knew the order was ready. She said I could go in and shop for my order. It seemed like a huge waste of time, to me, for her to talk to every car rather than help get the orders ready. The only positive was the young lady who brought our order to the care, Chadee (sorry if I misspelled) was efficient, friendly, and apologetic. Lesson learned. I will not shop in Staunton anymore.

In addition to employees improperly wearing masks, there was a couple without a mask coughing on vegetables and laughing. I told an employee who did nothing. Beware of this Kroger.

I have been a loyal Kroger customer for years, however, with the Pandemic, I seldom go inside and strongly rely on the pick up service. This morning I mistakenly got there early before my order was ready. A polite associate would have sad, “I’m sorry, it’s not quite ready, but will be shortly.” Instead I was told,”we’re not supposed to bring them out if you’re early.” Additionally, several items from the deli were out of stock, probably because it was not open yet. She should have told me! After making multiple trips to the car searching, I had to check my email. No matter how early I go to Walmart, I have my deli items. Sorry, but Walmart is beating Kroger with customer service at pickup. The only reason I went to Kroger was due to the no minimum policy. I hope it improves.

I thought I'd try the store pickup option ... I've been sitting in the parking lot for almost an hour and a half waiting for my groceries. I could have shopped for them myself, then drove home and put them away, then poured myself a drink ... how does this place stay in business?

Went today. About 100 people in store. Only saw one person wearing a mask. Left and went to Martin's where they are taking this covid seriously

I really love the selection of foods that the Kroger has, but what I don’t love are the store associates who are rude to customers and use inappropriate language in a professional workplace. There have been times where I have waited 20 nearly 30 minutes for Click List and so have countless other customers. Times where I have gone through the checkout line watching young store associates texting on their phones and scrolling through Facebook feeds when they should be working.
