The last couple times I have been to this Lowe’s, the staff was very absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and made sure the paint we picked for our shutters matched perfectly!

I am beyond frustrated with this company. I used to work for them for a tiny bit. There was no training involved with my job and I was forced to learn many things on my own often with customers waiting in front of me. One time when I did ask about something the employee briefly explained bur did not give full details. When I didn't get things correct the first time around due to details being left out, the person exclaimed in a loud exasperated voice that people could easily hear. " YOU NEED TO LEARN TO READ IT CORRECT." I was even expected to work on my own my very first day on the job with no training about the computer systems or anything. One time when I did call for help for something that REQUIRED a manager override. They went and hung up on me with customers needing the override standing in front of me and nobody to do the override. They did not put my information in their system correctly so my paychecks were never processed properly or on time, running me constantly out of money and I never knew if I should expect a direct deposit or a check, and they never informed me if a check was there for me. I did quit because I am not going to work somewhere so disrespectful. They cut us part time employees hours WAAAY back without any warning and one of the part time employees told me she was forced to take a loan out on her home because of them doing that without giving her a heads up. I am still missing a paycheck and have been forced to cancel Drs appointments because I have no money to pay just to get to my appointments. I only wanted this job to help cover some expenses with meds and such but it's not even doing that because of never getting paid correctly. When I went in to try to figure out where my pay check is this time. The employee there out front treated me like I had just poisoned her puppy. They did not tell me one day that another employee was going to be a couple hours late because they had an appointment so I wouldn't be able to leave when my shift was supposed to end. I also had an appointment that I actually paid around $1,500 out of pocket for. Because of their poor management I missed that appointment. I did ask the head cashier about if my replacement was going to come and she said she would come and check on it. It took her approximately an hour and when she finally came I had to remind her because she forgot. They need to get employees permission if they want them to stay past the scheduled time. Not ignore them and leave them hanging.
The way they train new employees is while the employees are actively on the floor helping customers. While you are doing that you are also supposed to go into the computer system and watch these "training" videos that have no volume to them because you are around customers, so you have little to no idea what they said. Then you are supposed to take this quiz afterwards. But since you weren't able to hear the video you have to guess at the answers so really the only thing you got out of it is stress. That is the training I got. Watching a bunch of videos that had no volume to it. Then taking a test on a video I never even heard. It did more harm than good, and the sad thing is these "training" videon never end and there are new one every day and there are deadlines to get them done. I was told they are only once a week which is to often to begin with. But then I asked someone else when I was doing them every shift and still falling behind and they told me no it's an every day thing. So you literially have 2 jobs but get paid for 1. My second day there a customer asked about some lumber products she needed. I asked one of the employees in the department about the product she wanted, and his answer was. "If it's not in front of her face we don't have it." I walked with the customer back to that area and thankfully another employee came by and he found it for her and helped her load it, and yes it was there, that guy was just to lazy to do his job.

I couldn't tell you how their customer service was because you can't get anyone to answer the phone. 3 different departments and the phone just continuously rings. Decided to go to Home Depot instead.

If you need any paint help and it's a Friday night make sure to see Zach at the paint department.. he is the best to mix a gallon or ask your paint questions to. He was so knowledgeable and helpful for my husband and I. We both thought WOW we’ve never visited this Lowes and had someone be so interested & informed in helping us. Thank you again Zack for helping give us the tools to fix the rust on the top of our chain link fence.

I placed an order for the solar eclipse glasses on a Friday. By Monday they had already sold and canceled my order. They sold my already paid for order before I had a chance to pick it up. Monday morning, My email said I had 2 more days to pick it up. I had planned on picking it up on Monday at noon. Apparently they had a hidden, unadvertised policy about the glasses. It’s shady and lacks integrity. You cannot sell an already paid for product to another customer
